My laptop is quite old and it’s left and right buttons for selecting/highlighting or clicking are not functioning and its 3-4 keys are also not working too. Fortunately it has a touchpad. Also I don’t want to use any external mouse for selecting/highlighting or clicking. So, what are my chances that I can make use of my laptop touchpad’s vertical and horizontal bar regions to work as left and right button respectively. Would I able to use mouse gestures then.
Is there any addon which can let me go up and down or sideways in a webpage without clicking and holding on vertical or horizontal bars or without using touchpad vertical and horizontal bar regions. As you have seen in some strategy games, when you take your pointer near the edge, it becomes more visible. Same thing it can be done with browsing web pages. Just take the pointer on left-top, middle-top, right-top, left-down, middle-down, right-down edges and web page moves that side and all without clicking any buttons or tapping on the touchpad.

I have a old Laptop which has touchpad and if someone could create a program or a small addon which can let anybody to hover on a text link and that links opens. I don’t want to press 2 laptop buttons I have, instead I wish I could make use of vertical and horizontal bar regions on the touchpad as left and right buttons of my laptop then it would be wonderful.

When I tap on the vertical bar side on my touchpad, it should consider it as a left click pressed and when I tap on horizontal bar side on my touchpad, it should consider it as a right click pressed. It is little awkward to use mouse gestures with buttons and touchpad on a laptop. I don’t like the sound when I press the laptop buttons or even tapping on the touchpad.

I saw a addon for Firefox named CoolPreviews which let you preview a website/webpage by opening a window on top and you can resize it. I was wondering if it was possible to see CoolPreview icon inside the first CoolPreview window.
I don’t want to close CP window and it should store all webpage content in temporary cache. Every time you hover onto CP icon, it again downloads content of that webpage which takes time unless you have an option to press Ctrl/Shift/Alt button.
When you hover on some link and CP icons shows on the right side and when you again hover on that CP icon, then it should open preview window just beside that CP icon. I mean its left or right top edge should be touching the CP icon depending where was link on the webpage.

How about a feature which can “Select close button on the selected tab if mouse pointer remains on red X button for xxx msec. No need for clicking the close button on selected tab for closing it.

I wish a small icon(like protect or lock icon) which shows up on the right side of every tab when you select it and when you take your pointer for xxx msec on that icon, all shortcut menu options shows up and then you can select any one. Again without having to right click on the tab to show shortcut menu for tabs.
