Tab Mix Plus

Hi all.

I am sorry, but I am new to this add-on and need a bit of help. I apologize if this has been answered before, but I would love a quick answer if anyone knows how to fix this.

How would go about setting up Tab Mix Plus to open Facebook's feed links in a new tab rather than the same one I clicked on them in?

Please give detailed instructions because I am not a computer wiz like some people are.

1. To open all links in new tabs:
TMP Options/Links > Force to open in new tab > All links:

2. If you want only links from that tab to open in new tabs, lock it:
Options/Menu/Tab Context Menu > check Lock Tab. Now this option will show in your context menu when you Right click that tab. Scroll to Lock tab menu item and click it:

You can choose to show Lock icon on that tab as well: Display/Tab:

For some reason, it does not recognize facebook links from game feeds as actual web links because Firefox is not loading them in a seperate tab. Do you know of a way to use this add-on to do that? Or is what I am wanting not possible to do?

I don't know. If the options i gave you above don't work, it might be the way the site is coded. I don't use Fb and wouldn't know that, sorry.

Alright, does anyone else know if there is a way to set this addon up so it will work like I would like it to? Or am I better off forgetting about it?

At the moment you can try Middle-Click on a link or CTRL+Click .

i will try to add better support for facEbook in the next dev-build

Okay, thanks.

I update to 0.4.0.3pre.120620a, and now-drop down menu (arrow with account settings, etc) & everything on Facebook, open in new tab? I can't access account/privacy settings, cose when I click on the arrow, no drop-down menu, he immediately open in new tab? This never happen before?

you will have to use Middle-Click or CTRL+Click on links you want to see on new tab
