Tab Mix Plus

I am a brand new Tab Mix Plus user. I think it's going to work very well but I have an immediate issue. A web site I use seems to open up a new tab with every link I click. It's very annoying. How can I make it stop?

Yeah, it opens a sign-on page. Are those links you click to other pages on the site?

Yes, the links link to other pages on the same site. As a work around, I've been right clicking "Open Link in This Tab" but a better solution would be welcome. Thanks.

This could be the site coding. I don't know if onemen will be able to 'fix' that.
Do you get an extra blank tab when you click a link? Like the actual link page + a blank tab. Or all links open in a new tab while you have TMP set to open everything in the same tab? Does this happen on other sites?
You might want to attach your settings to your post (TMP Options/Settings > save the file. Click the Full editor button under the quick reply box in this thread, Browse, Add...

Instead of having to right click and then click "Open Link in This Tab", is there a work around?

It depends what your settings are. Fx opens all links in the same tab by default. Do you open all links in the same tab or do you open all links in new tabs?

But, i use this little ext. Sonny Razzano (also known as srazzano on some forums) made for me - DragLink. I have all tabs set to open in new tabs but when i want a link to open in the same tab, i drag it (any direction) and it opens in the same tab. You might wan to try that and see if it helps your situation.

There other dragging links exts. available. I wanted a simple one - drag a link any direction to open in the same tab, that's it! - and this one is exactly what i wanted.

Well, with your settings, all links (anywhere) should open in the same tab and they do for me. I suspect that the site is coded to open all links in new tabs but it doesn't explain why you'd get an extra blank tab.
Are those links to any thing or listings, like you click a picture? 'cause i still think it has to do with javascript and popups. But since you didn't answer my questions above i'm guessing here and my crystal ball is getting foggy
