Tab Mix Plus

Hello

I'm trying to open Each thumbnail picture in a New tab on [url=http://]imgsrc.ru[/url] but am failing on finding that option on TMP.

I've tried every option numerous times in various combinations. I hope this not just site specific.

Are You able to open a thumbnail into a new tab just by clicking??



I'm having to use the extension "QuickDrag" and drag the thumbnails to open them in a new tab. That's slow & cumbersome. I want to Click on the thumbnails to open them in a new tab. All other sites work fine but not imgsrc.ru.
It's time I ask for help. Help!

What thumbnail from that link?
You shouldn't need an ext. to drag a link to open in a new tab - Fx does it by simply dragging a link to the tabbar.

From this link - http://imgsrc.ru/vscales/26590747.html?pwd=& all thumbs open in a new tab for me.
You have a few exts. that may cause this problem. Try disabling all but TMP, then enable one at a time till the problem reoccurs. Or try a clean profile with TMP only and add your exts. one by one to find which ext. causing this. it might be as simple as a conflicting setting in one (or more) of your exts.

I use the QuickDrag ext because I'm opening many pictures at one time & it is Much easier & faster then dragging them into the tabbar. I try to use the mouse for everything.


I followed your directions & more.

* I disabled all extensions Except TMP. Pictures still opened in the same tab. I played with the options some more after I did this too. Same problem.

* I made a new clean profile in Fx with Only TMP installed. Pictures still opened in the same tab.

* So I installed The Aurora build with a fresh install & installed TMP Only & tried on my link above by the default choices. No go. Then I went through all the options & set it up like I have it now. Pictures still opened in the same tab.

There's 14 screenshots total so I put it in a rar file instead of posting them all here. I left out the ones that are not pertinent. I hope you will take a look at them & see if I missed something important in the options.

Thanks for answering so quick. I followed all your directions.

I've tried the "Force to open in new tab" before. It works but it also opens Any link in a new tab & that definitely is not a desired action. (I tried Both All Links & Links to other sites)

Tried the "Lock all" & that works but same as above. It also opens Any link in a new tab.

Freezing also works but it also opens any link in a new tab & is a pain & repetitive for each new page.



Maybe I'm trying to be To lazy but makondo was able to open the thumbs in a separate tab so what is different on mine?
I've gotten dizzy from looking & trying the different opens in TMP so many times the past few weeks : )

Do you see anything wrong in my screenshots?

try middle-click or Ctrl+clicl to open link in new tab

Bingo sort of

This crap Microsoft mouse has every option available Except middle click! MS....Go figure
I'm in rural so have to drive 70 + miles to the city to find another one. Not this week


Ctrl+click works.
I am using Image Toolbar + Ctrl to open them all in tabs at the moment

Yeah, you're probably right. I think it may be site specific but I had to ask anyway. It is in Russia so who knows.

If I find a solution in any form I will post a reply as that site is HUGE & others may be having the same problem.

Thank You oneman & makondo for running this board alone like you do. It's to bad there isn't more TMP gurus out there that can be trusted & willing to help around here.

Yes, i set all links to open in a new tab and i have a small ext. that opens links in the current tab when a link is dragged (either way)... I was hoping onemen will add this option (or a right click like Mclick option) but he plain refused, so i had to get an ext, to do just that
