I've been having a few issues with focus. I wonder if they relate to Tab Mix Plus?

I have Tab Mix Plus configured to load home page on new tabs, and on "closure" of the last tab.
I have checked "Focus on content when loading non-blank page".

If I load a new tab with my home page (Google) the focus is on the Google search box - whichis what I want.

If I close tabs so just one remains, and then click the close X on that, Google home page loads, as I want, but there is a cursor both after the Google URL address AND in the Google search bar. Both cursors blink as if they have focus, but anything I type appends to the address, and does not enter into the Google search box.

As the loading of the home page on closure of the last tab is "loading a non-blank page" I would expect the focus to be on the Google search box, with no cursor in the URL box.

If this is a Tab Mix Plus issue, am I missing a setting, or if not, can this be resolved so that behaviour on "loading a non-blank page" applies when that page is loadedthrough "closure" of the last tab?

Thank you.

Thanks for the interest in this issue.

Firefox is version 8.01, OS is Win 7 32 bit.
TMP is 0.40pre.111215a (installed yesterday to see if it fixed the issue), but the issue, though relatively recent I think (last few months), was certainly present with 0.3.8.7 and is present on both my work system and home laptop.

Other installed extensions are: Adblock Plus 1.3.10 & FF Rocker 0.2.

Attached is the TMP settings file.

Peter

Fix is working perfectly at closing last tab.
But if i'm starting Firefox (Google is homepage) the focus is on addresse bar not on the Google search box.

Can you also fix it?
