The fact that you have kept the choice of number of rows in TMP 0.4.0.1 seems to imply that that function will work in some future version of Fx???

At this juncture it is unstable in that sometimes it limits to 4 rows and that is all -- I often need 40 or 50 open tabs with up to 6 rows -- and others I can scroll with my middle mouse button but that over only 3 --- a rare occurance and not dependable. I cannot replicate any of the above --- only sometimes by close/open Fx.

More than 3 rows makes moving last rows to first rows quite a cumbersome task. In any case the fact that you have kept the multi-row function must be for a reason though it is not clear.

Yes, I know one can alter rows by changing row width names but that isn't the question I am asking. Any input you might provide will be very welcome.

Thanks for the best used Extension for FX!!

Dell 7400, 64G, 12G mem, Win7, Fx 10.0.2

Sorry, i don't understand what you're asking. The option has been around since the very beginning (in fact, it was first introduced in the original Tab Mix about8 years ago) and there no plans to drop it as far as i know. You can set whatever number of rows you wish to see. if you have problem displaying rows, read our Please read the troubleshooting tips linked in my signature, there might be a conflict with another ext., theme or style (css code) you might have.
BTW, when tabs overflow your rows, you should see arrows which you can use to scroll rows.

V10.0.2 will not permit one to drag the bottom line defining the tab rows down and so what happens (sometimes but not always) is the tabs go into a middle mouse button scroll mode. Yes your option has been there forever but it does not work in V10

TMP has never had an option to drag the bottom of the tabbar. It has always had an option to scroll rows. if you were able to drag the tabbar bottom border, it has to be coming from some other extension.
Or are you requesting for such an option?

The latter. If you run Classic Compact (as I do) and you run and need up to 50 tabs open, If it is not so you cannot move the tab lower border down (at least temporarily), so it is quite a task to move tabs as you have to move them up tab scroll by tab scroll when scrolling is working. (The issue was solved with an extension for Thunderbird some time back.) I would be more than nice to be able to move the lower tab bar (and perhaps then defining max tabs would not be necessary. What do you think? Regards, jljacobs
