Having the "open links that open a new window in: NEW TAB" option set, doesn't work as usual after upgrading firefox to version 13.0.1 (and 13.0). What I get is the following (in the url bar where the new tab is opened):

Code:
jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20%28x86%29/Mozilla%20Firefox/omni.ja!/chrome/browser/content/browser/newtab/newTab.xul
)

No matter what the link is, it won't open and I get that.

I have discarded other problems as disabled TMP gets rid of this problem.

EDIT: found the culprit. Having this option unchecked produces that "jar:file(...)" problem

EDIT 2: Nope, still happening. I have to check the "Links" option too, for it to work on ALL links.
It seems that the problem is when the tabs don't have focus :/

Steps to reproduce: LEFT-click any links on a gmail email (may happen on other websites, but I am only experiencing it on gmail)
What to expect: the link should be opened in a new, unfocussed tab
What actually happens: a new, unfocussed tab opens and this is in the URL:
Code:
jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20%28x86%29/Mozilla%20Firefox/omni.ja!/chrome/browser/content/browser/newtab/newTab.xul

FF: 13.0.1 (also happens in 13.0)
OS: Windows 7 x64
Theme: Firefox default with custom persona (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -modified/)
I've attached my settings

Could it be interacting with other addons? Or perhaps there's some setting in about:config screwing things up?

I think I found the culprit: Load Tabs Progressively (addon)

I'm testing now, but disabling it returns normal TMP behavior.

You are right, Load Tabs Progressively causing your problem

However, i have also test it without Tabmix and see the same problem. so the problem you have with Load Tabs Progressively is not related to Tabmix
