I'd noticed these small issues:

1. In a clean Firefox profile (without TMP),
when there's only one 1 tab open, it doesn't have a close button (x):

On the other hand, with TMP installed,
even if there's only one tab 1 open, it has a close button:

2. If you try to fix the above issue
by going to TMP>Events>Tab closing
and enable the setting 'Prevent last tab from closing'
then, indeed the last tab doesn't have a x button anymore.
BUT, then the following issue occurs:
if you have, eg 3 tabs open
and you have the setting Options>Tabs>'Warn me when closing window with multiple tabs' enabled,
then, if you try to close the firefox window
you get a message "You're about to close 2 tabs" (instead of 3).

Therefore, I'd like to make this suggestion:
please make the setting "Prevent last tab from closing" enabled by default (=to be enabled in a fresh TMP install).
And also, there's the second issue, with the incorrect number of the closed tabs in the warning.

Thanks a lot.

regarding the close button - do you have any content on that tab... the new tab page (about:newtab) for example ?

i cant reproduce the bug with the wrong message - do you see it with any number of tabs or just 3 ?
also, is it depend of the tabs content or, you see the same bug on any 3 tabs ?

post your Tabmix settings

To recreate the 1st issue:
- create a clean Firefox profile
- install TMP 0.4.0.2 (with it's default settings) + restart Firefox
- you'll see that when only 1 tab is open,
no matter if it's empty(=new tab), or it has content,
it will always have a close button:

To recreate the 2st issue:
- create another clean Firefox profile
- install TMP 0.4.0.2 + restart Firefox
- go to TMP>Events>Tab closing
and enable the setting 'Prevent last tab from closing'.
(no other TMP setting is changed from it's default value: http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/5037/snag0018j.jpg )
- Make sure that the Firefox's option: Options>Tabs>'Warn me when closing window with multiple tabs' is enabled (it's enabled by default btw)
- Open 3 empty tabs(=new tabs)
- or 3 tabs with content
and try to close Firefox
you'll get: "You're about to close 2 tabs"

Also, if you open 2 tabs(empty or not) -instead of 3-
and try to close Firefox
you'll get: "You're about to close 1 tabs"
