Tab Mix Plus

For several versions now of Tab Mix plus, with FF maximized to full screen, when I double click on the window title bar to open a new tab - nothing happens. I have to double click again to get a new tab to open. I haven't added any new plug-ins or changed anything - just started noticing this issue a few builds back or possibly after FF 13.0.1 update came out.

what is your Tabmix version?
Do you get the same behavior with the latest dev-build ?

Yes, this behavior just started in the last 2 builds or so. I'm currently using 0.4.0.3pre120707a. I've tried disabling all my add-ons and still have this behavior. Again this used to work fine. Not sure if you can reproduce or not. I'm also using Win7 Ultimate x64.

i understand that you set Firefox to put the tabs on title bar
regarding the window is it maximized or in full screen these 2 are different ?

Correct, I have the tabs in the title bar when FF is maximized (not full screen mode). What I've found is that if I double click in the title bar to open a new tab (which is set to open to my home page) after just opening FF, nothing happens. I have to double click a couple more times for the new tab to open. Subsequent double clicks sometimes open a new tab immediately while other times it does not. It seems there is some hesitation at times in opening the new tab. The "new tab button" works perfectly though.

I don't see the missed dbl-click after Firefox start.
but i do see missed dbl-click when ever i close tab with the close tab button, then if i dbl-click on the tabbar (without clicking anywhere else before) - the dbl-click is ignore

You are correct. If I open/load FireFox and double-click in the titlebar a new tab is opening. I was incorrect in stating that it did not open upon loading FF. I must have been closing a tab and can confirm this is the issue that I'm seeing. This is consistent when double clicking to open a new tab after closing a tab via the close button and does not matter if FireFox is maximized, full screen, or windowed.

Thank you for pin-pointing the issue and confirming. Hope there is a possible fix available in the future - for now I can live with it.

On an off-topic, I posted a question/request in the Request forum, and was just wondering if my request was at all possible for a future build or not possible. It's regarding being able to automatically have a tab protected based on it's URL.
