New version of Firefox (14.0.1) TMP complained of Session Manager extension which inhibited it (THOUGH SESSION MANAGER WASN'T INSTALLED AT ALL !). So i installed it & then removed it. Much to my surprise, TMP still doesn't work with the same complaint??? Help me get my old sessions back, please I like TMP & want to get it working. Please?

Yes Sir...Is there an easy way to do that? Will Infolister do it? Or is there a Troubleshooter as Thunderbird has it?

Thank you sir: I'm not answering this on the machine that has the problem, but no Troubleshooting info shows up on this copy of FF, which is the same release version, so that puzzles me. Please advise.

Thank you sir. Thanks for your prompt reply. I may be able (not sure) to do this tonight when I go home, but I'm strongly tempted to "cure" the issue by clobbering the profile with a Mozbackup of this FF I am answering you with (same operating system, Win 7 & similar desirable session data) OR I could provide your data, then clobber the profile. I can't guarantee tonight. Actually for this I think I would like to put both actions off & try to guarantee Thursday night if you want your data.

I left some stuff at the bottom because it seemed to have something to do with extensions.

maybe one of the few extensions you have is incompatible with Tabmix.
try to disable extensions (one at a time)

try to start with New Tab King and Xmarks

you can also make a backup of your profile and sent it to my mail and i will do the testing

Have you seen this post by onemen?

But you really need to start over.
What's 'complaint' you're talking about? Is it some error in console? Post it here.
When you installed Session Manager ext., did you convert your TMP sessions to it?
Have you tried disabling all exts. like onemen suggested?
Whay exactly is the problem - some error in console? lost sessions? something else?

It seems to be the print/preview extension that causes the TAB Mix Plus to think that the session manager is installed. Can you contact the developer? He is at andrewsfirefoxextensions@gmail.com FYI

How do you know what TMP "thinks"? Do you see some errors in console? Do you get some popup? You need to post a screenshot of whatever it is that makes you think TMP is thinking ... some thing.

I would have been glad to do so. TMP clearly diagnosed in the restore options that the session manager (SM) was installed & offered a choice to convert it's options to the SM. See my just previous reply where I found an incompatible extension print/print preview, sir. :D

I am not sure how my extension would effect Session Manager.

Me either. I don't think it has anything to do with it. But it's hard to get clear info here, like what exactly the problem is (TMP popup on startup 'TMP has detected SM installed ..."? sessions lost? errors in console? steps to recreate? screenshots? etc.).
I'm not a developer, just trying to gather as much info as possible for onemen but i'm getting thin on guessing and my crystal ball is getting foggy.
