When i want to close the selected tab another one closes.

Errors? Your OS, Fx and TMP versions?

What I am seeing is that the old tab context menu only just stopped working with today's Minefield/Trunk build, I believe, despite the tab bar being a toolbar for several month's now. Oh, well. That's life on the bleeding edge!

I also don't get the tabmix context menu when I right click.

In Fx 3.6.6, i now can't close tabs from the context menu - none of the options (left/right) works - nothing happens.

Got some errors, one isn't for TMP but i post it here anyway:

On my XP system, I was rclicking over a tab just like I would if I wanted to, for instance, open a previously closed tab from the list. Same on my Win7 system.

FYI-I am using the dev version exclusively on my Minefield/Trunk installs on each system.

onemen,

the 0717 is 'very' broken in Fx 3.6.6. Would it help you if i try to summarize the issues i see and see posted around the forums?

I will test the Mf again but so far it works all right for me with the latest hourly (well, the tabbar context menu isn't there but i don't think it's TMP's fault. I believe there's a bug to change that menu to the toolbar menu coming soon anyway).

Anything i can do to help?

more from Fx 3.6.6:

the home button once again opens only first tab of my 7 pages. All 7 are still in the Home page url field in the Options.

On restart, it loads previously closed tabs along with the tabs that were open before the restart. Since Close all/left/right/other options don't work, have to close each manually (fun? the list grows with every restart!).

i don't see any of this bug... so it look like incompatibility with some extensions
i will help if both of you and other can find the extensions that the new build braked

I have no problems in Mf, it's fx 3.6.6 that is broken. I tested a clean 3.6.6 profile - the same thing:

1. all Close options are dead (close left/right/all/other tabs) - nothing happens.
2. restores all previously closed tabs, not just the ones that were opened before the restart, the list grows with every restart - that is more and more tabs will open on the next restart.
3. Home page opens only first tab out of 7 that are set in the Fx Options.

Notice, there more posts about this and similar issues, all seem to be in Fx 3.6.6.

i think that this is it.....
i'v made a mistake and only test 0717 version on Firefox 3.6.8pre

As it turn out Firefox developer add/change function name between minor version.

gBrowser.getWindowTitleForBrowser exist on 3.6.8pre, but not on 3.6.6

Where did you get Firefox 3.7a6pre Minefield? And where onemen got his 3.6.8?

OK, i'm confused now. I was installing Minefield from mozilla-central-win32 link. It now shows firefox/tinderbox-builds ...

Bruce, that's Minefield. I have it and have been using since the start. It's Fx 4.0b1 & 2 that is confusing now. Firefox 4.0b2 IS coming next week... I have 3.6.6 release, Fx4.0b1 release (from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html - it's older than Mf 4.0b2, of course but because it's on official site, people install it and report problems. Many of those problems have been since fixed in the trunk builds but i have to see what they're talking about), and Minefield trunk 4.0b2 from the 'not out yet' thread ...


The only probs i have are in 3.6.6 - loads of them, reverted main profile back to 0711 but the TMP only test profile is broken pretty badly.

Oh, forgot to mention that with the latest Mf hourly i now also lost the tab context menu.
