Those settings come from my cleanest configuration - FF nightly and tmp only with a few tweaks but all done thru the tmp config dialog boxes.

Shadow gave a good descriptions of the steps. We should use it. Bruce, can you access the help file to edit it? It should go to that 'Settings' portion:

Tab Mix Plus Dev-Build 0.3.8.5pre.100910a Released (Older builds)
  • Fixed: Tabmix 100907a incompatible with Wizz RSS extension.
  • Fixed: Bug 555081 Make the window draggable by glassed toolbars - disabled tab-bar click options. [Minefield - aero]
  • Fixed: wrong height for tabs in windows 7 [Minefield]
  • Changed: move some Tabmix functions to JavaScript modules:
    * Tab group manager extension support.
    * Merge windows functions.
    * Slide tabs functions.
    * Services.
    This is work in progress, the goal is to reduce Tabmix load time.

found it.

the use of Tabmix drop indicator made all the problem

until the next version just set in about:config
extensions.tabmix.useFirefoxDragmark true

New tab button (and the last tab) is cut off in some case:

1. Use multi-row
2. Restore the toolbars to default set
3. Resize the width of window to 675px (that the attribute "width" of #main-window is 675)
4. Open some tabs, when the sixth tab is opened, the new tab button is only showing a half but not shows the second row

otherwise known as the drop indicator, the indicator you see on tab when you drag tabs.

Fx 3.6.8
TMP 100910a

On loading a new tab or closing a tab I get all kinds of errors, sometimes Fx even freezes for a couple of seconds.

^ None of those are tabmixplus related (< that's what you should see in the errors for TMP). Read the troubleshooting tips linked in my sig.

TMP has been working fine for months. Just upgraded to TMP 0.3.8.5pre.100910a and lost all my tabs - FF always starts with a new session. It seems it's just ignoring my sessionstore.js file. Reverted to 0.3.8.5pre.100907a and my tabs have appeared again. No other changes!

FF 3.0.19, Win XP Pro

look like incompatibility with one of your extensions
look here for troubleshooting tips.
report about any messages from the error console

No - that's the point I was trying to make, 0.3.8.5pre.100907a worked fine with my other extensions. 0.3.8.5pre.100910a does not. *You* have changed something that stops it working.

Hi onemen,

With the 11/09/10 nightly minefield build, if you select and hold a blank area of the tab-bar and drag the window up and down the mouse pointer will move away from the tab-bar, if you release the the mouse button at this point and then mouse over the tab-bar again, the mouse pointer will snap to the tab-bar automatically and continue to drag the window until you click the tab-bar, which will then release the window. This bug only happens while moving the window vertically, never horizontally, does not affect the title-bar and does not happen with TMP disabled.
