Tabmix 0.3.8.5 will be out very soon.

The new Tabmix version is now under review in AMO.

I am running the latest version of Firefox with TabMix Plus 110303a. I also have the goolge toolbar installed. When I try and select an item (by mouse) in the google toolbar search history nothing happens. With TabMix disabled and I select an item I am able to search. How can I fix this?

You can follow your post in the Display Issues sticky. It's easier for onemen to track issues this way.

It appears that with the latest Dev-build (0.3.8.6pre.110303a), using the "Inverse Middle-click or Control-click focus of: Bookmarks/History" option also affects the Search bar.

Another thing; it looks like TMP conflicts with the Context Search add-on: using the context search does the opposite of what's set in TMP options (regarding the tab focus made on searches from the search bar).
If the option is enabled, the tab is focused on a search made using the search bar, but the tab is not focused when using the context search.
When the option is disabled, the opposite happens.

Just a quick question before I'm going to make a whole lot of assumptions..

The setting "Open links that open in a new window" in the Links options tab of TMP. That is somewhat using a hidden setting of Firefox itself right? Or did TMP add the 'current tab' option and does it handle that all by itself?

Since with TMP disabled only a similar setting is found in Firefox' options (something like 'open new windows in a tab instead'), so just a toggle, instead of the 3 options the TMP interface allows.

I seem to have a specific issue when using the 'Current Tab' setting. Which remains an issue when I disable TMP and don't touch Firefox' own setting, which would make it seem that the setting is all handled by Firefox itself.

Thank you.

I have 2 problems with the dev build:

1) When you open the browser with lots of tabs and try to scroll the tab bar (with a mouse wheel) while the pages are loading, it will scroll a little and then come back to the current tab.

2) Similarly, when you open the browser and stop tabs from loading, especially in a state where the page hasn't load anything yet (only white color is present), then close Firefox and open it again, the tabs you stopped will be completely empty, without even the address in the address bar and history of previous pages in that tab.

So you're essentially losing all information that was in the tab. I use "Active Stop Button" add-on, which lets me stop all tabs at once, but this bug prevents me from benefiting from it. Note - some previous versions of TMP worked properly, they didn't lose information from the tab.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.14, TMP 0.3.8.6pre.110303a.

Tabmix just add UI for Firefox hidden setting look in the flowing links:
Open links that open in a new window
Javascript & Popup restriction

Thanks for that information. I already kinda thought that was the case, but wasn't sure. I'll dig into the issue further then.

regarding Inverse Middle-click or Control-click focus of: Bookmarks/History
i need to change the title to Bookmarks/History Address/Search bar

Context Search use its own code to open new tab with focus or in background.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/context-search/ wrote:
Context Search Expands the context menu's 'Search for' item into a list of installed search engines, allowing you to choose a specific search engine every time.

Search engines can be added or reordered in Firefox's Search Toolbar ("Manage Search Engines").

Once the search engine menu is visible:
- Left click to search in a new background tab.
- Middle click to search in a new tab and switch to that tab immediately.
- Ctrl+click to search in a new tab and switch to that tab immediately.

If you have Firefox set to switch to new tabs immediately (browser.tabs.loadInBackground), the above key combinations will have the inverse effect.

Shift + click opens search results in a new window.

I use the below option:
when tabs don't fit width
scrollable without button

if you open a lot of tabs, the tab then can only scroll to left but not to right.

Sorry. Just to describe the issue precisely
I use the below option:
when tabs don't fit width
scrollable without button

if you open a lot of tabs, the tab can scroll to left automatically and make the leftest one not visible.
If you close the tabs from the right, the tab in the left will not automatically
scroll to the right. The invisible tab in the left is still invisible until you close the last visible tab.
