I encountered this problem months ago and the people in the Binary Turf forums offered no help at all, despite many with the same problem.

I switched to Chroma Tabs Plus and haven't looked back.

Incompatible with FF 8.0.

Updated to ColorfulTabs 7.1. Will see how that goes.

If you check back over the past few pages, I believe onemen posted that there is a known conflict with colorful tabs and that it is being worked on.

Reloading a Site by double clicking Tab doesn't work with 16a. Worked with previous Versions up to 11a (didn't try 12a).

Thanks for the update, onemen.

Note: I tried double-clicking to reload a tab and it did not reload using the previous dev build of TMP in latest Aurora nightly.

Yes, double-clicking on a tab no longer works. (I set mine to close tab).

Thanks, onemen!
The Goog menu is fixed.
FWIW, i use DBLclick to reload tab and it works fine as usual.

Actually double click works now only if you tick prevent double click on Tabbar from changing window size in options--->Mouse---->mouse clicking---->double click.

Otherwise it doesn't work for me in this version

No, it works for me regardless. ^ That option is for tabs on top/app button. I don't use any of this but if i hide menubar and use tabs on top, DBLclick resizes window as it suppose to (according to Fx).
DBLclick works here - just tried to close a tab and it did.

See if there's a conflict with another ext. - click the link to troubleshooting in my sig.

It would help if I checked to option before posting...

I have to retrack my previous post. I had to search for it, but I found that I did not have anything set (Do Nothing was selected) for double-clicking on a tab. With the option selected, I do get the tab to reload when I double-click on it.

Just checked and its the same here. However, it doesn't work in my usual config, which is: double click on tab -> do something (realod); double click on title-/tabbar -> normal ff-behaviour (resize window). I use that option where tabs are placed on the title bar in maxed view... if that matters.

Thanks for the solution. I didn't realise the option until you mention it.

More testing:
prevent DblClick ... option UNchecked + tabs on top - DblClick does nothing (doesn't work).

i see the problem with dblclick when tabs on title bar
Dbl click on tabs should work always, the option to prevent double click on Tabbar from changing window size
need to only effecting the tabbar dbl-click.

i will fix it in the next version

I'm not sure what's causing this, but for a number of builds now I've seen issues where the tab bar doesn't update to display the current open/closed tabs. For example I'll have 3 tabs open and open a new tab and the tab bar will only show 3 tabs open. The "List all tabs" drop down will show all four and I can select any of them, but only three will show up. Eventually the tab bar will update to show all 4. The same thing sometimes happens when closing tabs (but in reverse).

I'll usually see an error like the following when this happens:

Error: tab.parentNode is null
Source file: chrome://global/content/bindings/tabbox.xml
Line: 773

or

Error: gBrowser is not defined
Source file: chrome://browser/content/browser.js
Line: 5265

This only happens when a tab is loading. Once the tab finishes loading the tab bar updates.

I haven't been able to track the problem down since this only happens on my work PC and both my home PC and work PC both have TMP on them. Any ideas?

Which Fx version? I don't see this in Fx7 and 8b3.

I have a similar issue, but only on restored sessions:

-some tabs are loaded like blank pages (without any URL)
-some tabs simply dont open
-some tabs appear how "phantom" blank tabs, they are showed only on "List all tabs". If I close any of them, a popup msg refer to a closed mozilla bug: "ASSERT: Giving up waiting for the tab closing animation to finish (bug 608589) "

Im using latest daily.
