With Session Saver enabled and FF closed, when some application lunches FF to open a link it doesn't open it, but instead recovers the last session.

I don't know if this is a bug or the way it's planned to work, but it will be nice if instead of FF not opening the link with Session Saver enabled, it opens it in a new tab. A suggestion or bug report the way you see it :p, but I would like if it could be implemented.

Thanks in advance.

That's the problem, it doesn't for me; it just restores the session. I'm using FF 1.0.7 and latest beta(0.2.95.20051120) btw.

Some of them are: when using utorrent search engine it lunches FF with the results of a search, but if Session Manager is enabled, it just restores the session. I've tried also with IRC links, Word links; wierd thing is some links appear to have no problem.

For example, open a site(lets say www.yahoo.com), close FF, then copy www.google.com on a Word document, Control+click on the link and FF will just restore the session(www.yahoo.com) you may see that on the status bar www.google.com appears for seconds, but it stops and then www.yahoo.com loads.

Sorry, forgot to put the one site that didn''t suffer this problem when testing(just put it instead of www.google.com and it will work):

Sorry again(deleted the l of html, I think I will register so a next time this triple post thing doesn't happen >_<)

http://www.eiu.edu/~samgnet/tec5313$_/A ... ories.html

Just paste it instead of www.google.com in a Word document and it will work, but with google and other sites it doesn't :S.

Here is a pic kinda describing the problem, it's when FF stops www.google.com loading and is gonna start to restore the session.

Same for me with latest build.

Last session is opened, but new link doesn't open.

This happens with any external link e.g. from an e-mail message, program's online help menu entry etc.

Windows XP SP2
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051118 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005111803

i'v found the bug, for some reason the code treat this tab as blank tab and reuse it... i will look into it

Hello all,

I just discovered Tab Mix Plus yesterday when I upgraded to Firefox 1.5. It is just a great extension. I am using v 2.5.2

But I, too, have the problem with "any external link e.g. from an e-mail message, program's online help menu entry etc. " not coming up in Firefox, while the last session does come up.

Has anyone figured out some type of workaround for this? I often click on a link in an email, and now it is just not working unless Firefox is already open.

I'd really appreciate any ideas on this. Thanks.

Rose

Firstly great feature packed extension! I have this problem in 2.5.2, so what i did till its fixed, is to get the Session Saver extn from FF, and switch off the Restore Last Session features in TabMixPlus.

They seem to work together with no problems till this is resolved.

Cheers.
