Tab Mix Plus

I've just manually updated Firefox 3.0 to 3.01 via Help/Checkforupdates and my already installed TMP build 0.3.6.1.080416 (dev) was immediately compatible without any tweaks.

This version works on my machine at fx 3.0.1! Thanks!

I LOVE this program. It allows me to obtain the functionality of Avantbrowser with tabs.

Unfortunately when I upgraded Firefox to v3.0.1 (security upgrade) the addon no longer works.

Is there a compatible version available?

no work in mozilla firefox 3.0.1

It's ridiculous. People keep posting complaints about 3.0.1 not being compatible around posts specifically posting a link to the remedy. Read people!!

FYI: To set Firefox to NOT check the compatibility of extensions go into about:config and create the new Boolean item "extensions.checkCompatibility" and set it to "false." Firefox should then allow you to install extensions that are not officially compatible with the version in question.

Also FYI: I have been using the current development version of TMP in Firefox 3, Branch (aka Gran Paradiso & Firefox 3.0.2pre) and Trunk (aka Minefield & Firefox 3.1a1pre) without "show-stopping" troubles.

But this bug has been around for months: there's no reason why it has been declared incompatible with FF 3.0.1 or any 3.0.* version.

unfortunately the security upgrade to firefox 3.0.1 doesn't support tab mix plus dev build

Just thought I should let you know that the Dev build doesn't work with Firefox 3.01 - if you can do something about that (or post a workaround) that would be cool. Cheers

reinstall the dev build. if that doesnt work, try clearing your cache
