Hi,

I am Using Firefox 3.0.1 in Hebrew Version, On Windows XP3 :!:

I have tried the Latest above suggested version - (0.3.7pre.080728) and found the following Bug:

I have fixed in Options > Display > When Tabs don`t fit Width> Multi-row, but nevertheless - The Tabs keep "disappearing" beyond the right end of the Tab`s Toolbar - fact that makes it very hard to work with Multi-Tabs That way !

I Remember that with Firefox 2 (Hebrew Version), There was No such Problem, and when I Chose "Multi-row" - That what I Got :!:

Please Check the problem, and if there is a solution - Please Let me Know about it.

Thank you,

The close tab button is weird with the "NASA Night Launch" theme. However it was perfect in build 0.3.6.1.080416!

Its kinda moved left and there is a bit of a second close button to its right.

I'd really like the ability to force URLs typed in the address bar to open new tabs. Tabbrowser preferences does it, but isn't compatible with Firefox v3.0.*, and TMP has some better features anyway.

Since the last build I have the same problem: I enter an URL in the address bar, it opens, the other page, which was displayed before is gone, no tab, and I can't even go back!
In the settings all options ("Open tabs from...") are checked, including "from address bar". Also "Focus/Select tabs that open from: address bar" is checked..

System specs:
Win XP Pro SP3, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
and of course TMP build 037pre080728

I downloaded the latest update (080728), but the close tab is still in effect

Re. the bug I mentioned above: his only happens when there is just one tab open. Not only when you enter a URL into the address bar, but also when clicking a link, no second tab will open, only if you right click on a link and specifically say "open link in new tab". Maybe this bug existed in earlier versions, too, when I open FF usually all tabs are restored, I don't remember when I only had one tab open.

The restore closed tabs do not work at all, Firefox v3.0.1.

:(

Disagreed - works fine here on Linux 8). Maybe you can quote a bit more of your configuration - e.g. what OS you are using (Linux, Mac, XP, Vista...)? It could also be another extension you are using is interfering - so you could e.g. check with a fresh profile (no other extensions installed but TMP) whether the problem persists.

it started working fine today..

In any case I would like to suggest that we have a closed tab choice on the sessions manager button for the navigation tab and possibly that we choose whether to display the closed windows and closed tabs drop downs there, I would rather have one button for all my session manager needs than two.

I am with many others, wont upgrade unless there is a TMP veriopn for the new FF out there.

Guys, any chance to see the "New Tab" button on the right side of the tabs thing?

Re. the "one-tab-only bug" I described above: It seems it has been a temporary issue, I can't reproduce it anymore. So in case nobody else has this problem, it is none... :)

If you are looking for a version of TabMixPlus which is compatible with FF 3.01, runs in 3.01 without problems, then try this: http://tmp.garyr.net/tab_mix_plus-dev-build.xpi

I agree - was about to go back to FF 2.x - but came and got the dev build instead.

I would also encourage folks to post their love of this tool at the official Add-On page just so others in the FireFox community know what a blessing this Add-on is.

Not having it is like someone cutting off my right arm. I can still do things, but it is so very much harder.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Tab Mix Plus.

I think Tab Mix Plus is essential!
I tried the 3.1 nightly build, but Tab Mix seems incompatible. So I stick with 3.01 until Tab gets updated. Keep up the good work, I love this little piece of software. (it is also one of the reasons I don't use Safari ;=)))

Hi,

It's a very nice feature! A few days ago, I experiment a serious hardware crash (southbridge bug in the motherboard's chipset) exactly at the same time that TMP was updating its session.rdf... The result was that the file was corrupted (half of the size was left filled with "null" chars) and not usable. I had no backup of it and I had to rebuild some of the previous saved sessions..

So, I've made a small batch to manually backup session.rdf and now I see that you've implemented this kind of feature... Really nice!

I just wait until the final release of TMP for FF3.0 to update FF..

Thanx onemen (and all other people that might also work on TMP) for this essential extension.

Regards,

Johan

I made the mistake of updating before your guys updated... i missed TMP sooooo damn much, its by FAR the best add on for FF.

I am never again going to update FF till you guys make a release for a version.

Cheers!
Ryan

I second that!!!!! TMP has become for me such an important part of FF that not being able to use it on a new release of FF causes me to revert to the latest version compatible with TMP (and yes, I now think of FF being compatible with TMP, and not the opposite!).

Thanks a million for your hard work, I REALLY do appreciate it! The functionality you offer really bring FF to a whole new level.

Thomas.

Good point!

I second all of that, and I've just put my own comment on the add-ons page too.

There are 2 "x" in each tab. I also have the silvermel theme. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

hmm, no comment?
not that i really care, Fuck you all!

Knock it off with your unseemly attitude.

TMP is made available for how much money? Answer: $0.00 and still you complain that the two fellows WHO COULD BE CHARGING YOU FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF USING TMP instead of offering for free are not waiting around for your measly little issue! Unbelievable!

Well, here is your solution:

DON'T USE THE SILVERMEL THEME OR IS THAT TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND!?!

Gary and onemen have put in a lot of their own personal time and energy in creating and maintaining TMP. Instead of being a brat, you should be kneeling at their feet and thanking them for doing something that you obviously are too ignorant and selfish to ever do.

PostPosted: Thu Aug 07, 2008 10:53 pm
First off, thank you for such a great extension!

Now, this is a longshot but is there any way to get this extension working with Organize Search Engines? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4565

After you add multiple search engines into a folder and then click open all in tabs, only 1 tab opens.

Thanks for listening! :)
