Tab Mix Plus

I know this has been discussed in the past.

Id like to see a setting to avoid opening the same URL in another tab unless intending to do so by a right-click or some other means.

When I save a series of tabs sometimes I end up with a couple about:blank and when searching it makes no sense to me to open the same link in a second tab.

In previous threads discussing this feature the arguments seem to be where do you make the cut-off point? To me they are either the same or they are different meaning that if some one enters "http://www.yahoo.com/" or "http://www.yahoo.com/projects" << those are not the same although part is.

There was also mention of allowing a user-specified delimiter (or some keyword/phrase string) after the .com, .org, .edu such as "/" - allow or ignore so the user could set their preference.

TMP is still the best addon ever created! Thanks to all those contributing.

Is there a option to make popups open in a new tab instead of... well... poping up? i have popup block on. but, when i click and open this game i play, it opens in a new window, with no tab, and only the adress bar, so, how do i change it to just putting it in a new tab? Sorry for the newish question, i'm just getting the hang of chrome.
