Tab Mix Plus

if i am on a search page and i click a link--it opens in the same tab--i would like it to open in a new tab so i don't lose my search results---or go back on my browser--sorry if this is a 'stupid' question but i am kinda new to this. thank you

What search page does this happen on? If its Google, you may need to set your prefs there (top right corner links on google page).
Also, Your OS, Fx and TMP versions? Try the latest dev.build (link in my signature).
And see settings under Links tab (TMP Options - http://tmp.garyr.net/help/#Links) Set the top one to New tab).

thank you. it's xp sp3, fx 3.6, tmp 3.8.3 --followed your directions--thought i had it set-up that way...checked my google settings options and it was checked already 'open results in new browser(i guess tab in ff)..really don't know if i could replicate....but it works now...also want to thank you for your quick reply--'a must have ext.'--should come bundled with fx.

oh - i just wanted to add--i wish other extensions had half this support.
