I've been really frustrated by the release notes for the last few updates. Compare the following:

My update process for most extensions:
  1. See update in Add-ons Manager
  2. Click Show Release Notes
  3. Read the release notes
  4. Click Update Now

My update process for TMP:
  1. See update in Add-ons Manager
  2. Click Show Release Notes
  3. Read meaningless and poorly formatted (“&amp”) notes and mention of changelog in forum
  4. Click More
  5. Click homepage link
  6. Click Forum
  7. Click News
  8. Click changelog-looking topic
  9. Read the release notes
  10. Go back and find update in Add-ons Manager again
  11. Click Update Now

There's a “Release Notes” field there for a reason. I wouldn't have clicked it if I didn't want to read the release notes, so please just copy them from the forum post and paste them in there instead making me waste ten minutes hunting them down.

Seven additional steps is not “click[ing] one link.”
Please just tell me why you do not put the release notes in the Release Notes section. Is there some reason? Do you not want people to see them? Is it difficult for you? I don't understand.

Please see my original post. Four steps to update most extensions. Eleven to update TMP. 11–4=7.
