Tab Mix Plus

I can find in the first tab but not others. As I type, either the text is not found, or it will just "do nothing" unless I click the "Highlight" option on and scroll down the page to find highlighted text.

I have many other extensions loaded. I have replaced Tabbrowser Extension with Tab Mix Plus and that is when this behaviour began.

can u give me a list of ur extensions

CPU, I have the same problem with my extension list as well.

I tried it and it is exactly as Guest said. It finds on the first tab correctly, and on the second tab it will not find - but will highlight all instances of the word.

I can enclose screen shots if needed.

OK, here goes - I am posting this as I am making the screen shots.

I currently have 4 tabs open, the first being my job page at GA Tech, the second being a Google Search for Nail Salons, the third being a page where I can download Nail Salon POS-type software for a trial, and the 4th being this one.

I go to the first page and try a search, and every thing works as it should.

I go to the second tab and try to find the word business and search indicates that it is unable to find, including an audible response.

I click the highlight button and the word business is highlighted on the page, meaning it can obviously be found on the page.

However, this behavior does not occur on a new profile with only TMP installed, so it is not TMP specific.

i took a look at ur extensions list and u have extended statusbar

i have heard that with the extension installed, people have the same problem

I do not have Extended Statusbar and I am the guest that started the thread.

I'll check it out and see if that is the only cause of it - it might be, as this problem manifested for me well be fore I started using TabMix (original), so if that is a 'bug' of extended status bar then I will evaluate as to whether I really need that extension anymore or not.
