this "after" version will be much nicer, when will it be released?

fancy paper. unfortunately we have tried most of those options ourselves and ultimately did not chose them for a reason

the only thing that i saw there that i liked was the preview for the styles but that will have to wait for a later version

If more people donate, the better supported the product will be. What is your problem with that?

Wow, the "Make Compatible" feature provided by the MR Tech Toolkit does the job. Tools -> Addons ->Right Click on TMP -> Make Compatible -> Restart FF.

Voila!

I love this extension!! However, the version posted here stopped working when I updated to FF 3.0.1. Does anyone have a work-around or an update to get this extension working again? Thanks for all the work that you do, this is a great extension!!!

    - select all files/folder (chrome, defaults, chrome.manifest, install.rdf)
    - add to archive zip
    - rename tab_mix_plus-0.3.6.1.080416.zip in tab_mix_plus-0.3.6.1.080416.xpi
    - Install
    - enjoy, no warning ;)

Thanks Stolker that worked for me also. I went through your process, then installed the .xpi on FF 3.0, then when I went back to 3.0.1 it did not warn about incompatible add-ons, and seems working fine.

Could I add my voice to those suggesting that everyone needing this add-on try the "Make a donation" button. I would really hate to have to learn to use FF without TMP!

Can a developer look into this asap please? I've posted this before and got no reply.

Although Tab Mix Saved Sessions are selected in Clear Private Data, when Clear Now is pressed and browser is closed, upon opening, fx 3.0 continues to restore the tabs. This happens with Tabmix session restore enabled and the browser's disabled in tabmix's options.

In the past with fx2.x, once Clear Now was pressed, upon restart, the last sessions tabs were not restored.

Thank You

I wish people would read the last few pages of this thread before they post. I have not seen an original issue posted for the past week or longer.

People, your issues have already been posted and answered. The answers are here for you to use so that you can get TMP working in all currently available versions of Firefox.

Oh, and by the way, I am not a developer. I am a user who is using this version of TMP in Firefox 3.0.1, Branch (Firefox 3.0.2pre), & Trunk (Firefox 3.1a1pre) without any "show-stopper" issues.

bugtester,

i think you might want to start your own thread. I see legit problem reports getting lost within the flood of whining. May be CPU and/or onemen will see your post then and respond.
Meanwhile, check to see if the option is UNchecked in Fx (don't know about Fx3 but in Fx2 it used to be here: Fx Options/Privacy/Private data > Settings > TMP saved sessions - UNCHECK!)

First, thanks for working on the v 3.x release. This is what makes FF the most usable browser.

Unfortunately, there's at least 2 minor bugs... I don't know what you need, but I'm using XP Media/SP 2. I'm using the Aquatint Black Gloss 3.1 theme and the close tab icons on the right side of the tab don't display properly. It looks like there's two half's of a circle, but the left side is on the right and the right is on the left. not sure how else to explain it but it also is like two C's with one showing the mirror image...

It happens on every tab, and the tab sizes appear somewhat messed up too.

Don't know if this helps or not, but I can add more info if needed.

Thanks agian.

Is there Tab Mix Plus build (version) compatibile with Firefox 3.0.1?
I'd rather not have update turn-off Tab Mix Plus, one of my favorite add-ons.

And is there planned official release compatibile with Firefox 3.x?

Please read the last page or 2 or 3. The answers you seek are already posted there.

Tipp for 7zip-users:
  1. Download the xpi-file (rightclick on the link to the addon at the first page and select "Save file".
  2. Rightclick on the file -> 7-zip -> Open
  3. Then open the file install.rdf
  4. Change "em:maxVersion="3.1" />" in "em:maxVersion="3.0.1" />"
  5. Save and close the editor
  6. Now 7zip asked if you want to save the changes in the archive -> Click yes
  7. Now drag 'n' drop the file on FireFox

This issue has been reported numerous times in the last 10 or so pages. Even with screenshots.
Devs are working on it. In the mean time - use the default theme.
