it was a double post -.- sorry
here is the fixed post has it should have been cause if i understood correctly you thought the "it should have said..." was a standalone post.

I found the source of the "save and quit" bug, This is a reported bug and something seriously stupid in firefox internal session store the details are here: bug 398817
basically firefox clear history on exit clears the session store if you select browser history instead of having a separate selection for it which makes it delete the session that was made for the "save and quit" feature
well a good solution is tab mix plus session store it has its own selection in the clear history dialog Rolling Eyes

Also i noticed that the protect tab and lock tab icons are stretched making then look blurry and weird.

while loading a new site the favicon in the tab is not showing up until the page is fully loaded. was better/working in the version before
(using the latest dev build)

bug or feature?

to 1: This error comes in FF 3.0.1 (always)
(i use only the original themes)
In FF 2 i had this result only one time in 3 months
to 2: have no error for this tabs in error console


Sorry, i found now any lines now in the error console (see attachement)
But is not in english, the lines meaning same this translation: "unknown characteristic scrollbar.... Declaration ignored"

I just tried the latest dev build with FF 3.0.1, & I STILL have the same problem as before....

If I close FF with 2 tabs open, then launch FF from a link in an email, it opens a 3rd tab to the left of the 1st tab, instead of using the 2nd tab on the right to display the link I opened. Please fix this bug ASAP. Thankyou.

i don't understand what is the problem

when you open firefox from a link in email it open the tabs from the previous time + the tab with the link. so if you close firefox with 2 tab you get 3 tab

Love the new update. Keep up the good work TMP dev team. Is it possible to add an 'Undo All Closed Tabs', 'Undo All Left Tabs','Undo All Right Tabs'??

Like the ones for Reload and Close Tab functions or would this make TMP too bulky and resource hogging from the already TMP recovery function?

you can already undo all closed tabs from the undo closed tabs menus

For all people having problems with Silvermel and the new TabMix Plus 0.3.7pre.080816 I have an update:

WARNING: this version will only work with 0.3.7pre.080816 and is incompatible with earlier TMP versions (including the official 3.6). For me it's a very disconcerting situation, because I can't update the theme on AMO in this condition. I hope you are not planning more wild modifications on such important elements like tab and tabbrowsertab and you are going soon to make this version official. Anyway, thanks for recompense my efforts to make Silvermel plays nice with TMP. Rolling Eyes

hi. 1st time poster. foregive me if this bug has already been posted. no time to read the entire thread.

Unclose tab via the close tab list only works for me when this is set to true in the prefs.js of Firefox 3.0.1 (windows xp):

user_pref("extensions.tabmix.sessions.crashed", true);

how do i get the window to not automatically focus on the unclosed tab?

Nevermind. It's working fine now, but unclose tab wasn't working when I initially installed this build. I'm not sure what I did to fix it other than play around with the perf.js file and these two variables:

user_pref("extensions.tabmix.sessions.crashed", true);
user_pref("extensions.tabmix.sessions.crashRecovery", false);

I subscribed to the RSS feed for this topic so that I'd be aware whenever a new development build was released, but it's far too high traffic for my needs. Could you possibly consider having separate threads for announcing builds and discussing them?
