When will tab mix plus support the smooth tab scrolling feature in firefox 3?

props to you for working so hard on this. not enough people say it.

I just switched to Tab Mix Plus Dev-Build 0.3.7pre.080816 today since I updated to Minefield 3.0.1. Opening a site from the Bookmark menu or toolbar and History no longer opens it in a new tab but in the current tab instead. I've checked the options under Tab Opening for Open tabs from. Groups of bookmarks, Search bar, and Address bar options, when checked, do open a new tab but not the Bookmarks/History option.

The Middle click opens item in current tab when checked does the opposite-- it opens the link in a new tab.

Not sure if someone has already brought them to your attention. Thanks a million for your work on this extension, of the 13 I have, this is the one I can NOT do without.

Under options (tab closing), i have "when closing current tab, focus -last selected-" but that doesnt work. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but same thing. I close a tab, focuses on the one right next to the one I just closed.

Today I've started to use Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7pre.080816 with my Firefox 3.0.1, because I need to keep reloading a tab before getting logged out of my application.
I've enabled the "Reload every..." 30 min for this tab and as long as I don't move back/forward, it remains enabled and reloads this tab every 30 min.
However, once I change anything on this page (ie: tick a box on the page which is on that tab), this has the effect to reload the page on that tab and disable the "Enable - Reload every".
It seems that the "Enable" of "Reload every" isn't tab based, this is URL based, which makes for me, Tab Mix Plus useless.

Is this a normal behavior or a bug ?

I fully realise this is still in development for compatibility with FF3, but I've just installed FF3.0.1 yesterday and already sorely miss this extension! So I was wondering if it is safe at all to install the development build, or is it still quite buggy? Is it just a question of missing functionality at this point, or will it crash Firefox? Would this latest build be more reliable than v0.3.6 or vice versa?

Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm new to this forum.

BTW, I'll be making a donation to the developers now that I realise just how much I value it, and how much work is involved!

@robodok: First, v0.3.6 will not work with FF3 - which obsoletes the question of which version will be more reliable here

Second: Many of us here use the development build (i.e. all of us who have FF3), and for most of us it's running fine.

There may be some issues still (that's why it is not yet released), mainly with very special configurations or themes. But basically, I guess we can recommend using it. The worst thing happening could be you have to uninstall it again - but I don't believe that will be the case. Just give it a try.

That's pretty much what i was hoping to hear, and that's good enough for me. I reckon I'll give it a go, and I suppose I should start reading this forum, in particular News and Builds threads. Any other threads I should be be monitoring, besides those? (keeping in mind I'm not trying to get to deeply involved at this point, although maybe I could help develop in the future if they'll have me!)

it's strange cause youtube.com don't try to open a popup each time.

Can i add a plugin to firefox to have a log that may help you?

TabMixPlus conflicts with "Auto Dial 4" extension...

When I disable TabMixPlus, "Auto Dial 4" starts to work normally.

Please, FIX IT!

the close button looks misplaced when using Firefox2 skin on ff3 :

You'll need to configure TMP to point new tabs to chrome://autodial/content

tabmix options > events > tab opening > load on new tab > user loaction
chrome://autodial/content

After installing 0.3.7pre.080816, Firefox 3.0.1 behaves the same as if Tab Mix Plus was not installed. I can make any number of changes to Tab Mix Plus options and none has any effect.

Rebooting Firefox, uninstalling Tab Mix, installing it again, rebooting my PC and repeating these tasks in various sequences had no effect.

Could it be that this version can be installed only if you have installed a previous version of Tab Mix?

In about:config set:
javascript.options.showInConsole to true
javascript.options.strict to true

restart Firefox, open Tools > Error Console and post to here ALL the messages you find there.

also post to here your tabmix settings and your extensions list

I tried your latest Build of Tabmixplus 0.3.7pre.080830.xpi
bad still don't work with Silvermel still the same compatibility issue.

Why you don't fix this problem? I know there is a provisional
modified Version of Silvermel this works. Bad this not resolves
the real problem. All user of Silvermel and ShareBird waits
of a working Tabmixplus version.

I hope you fix this soon as possible. I know there are lot of other things
to fix maybe more important for you.
