I installed Fx 3.5pre a few hours ago (see UA string at bottom) and (with TMP 0.3.7.3) the Flowing Tabs capability was lost. However, I succeeded to get it back after some fiddling with DOMi and userChrome.css. The following works for me; all of it is currently part of my Fx userChrome.css. It may include some superfluous and even invalid code. Now I'm going to try the new TMP beta.

Code:
/*
 * Implement flowing tabs
 */
.tabbrowser-tabs > stack > vbox > hbox > hbox,  /* SeaMonkey 2          */
.tabbrowser-tabs scrollbox.tabs-frame           /* Fx3.5 (1st attempt)  */
  { height:             auto                    !important
  ; display:            block                   !important
  ; min-height:         20px                    !important
  ; max-height:         80px                    !important
  ; overflow:           visible                 !important
  }
scrollbox.tabs-frame > box.scrollbox-innerbox   /* Fx3.5 (2nd attempt)  */
  { height:             auto                    !important
  ; display:            block                   !important
  ; min-height:         20px                    !important
  ; max-height:         80px                    !important
  ; overflow:           visible                 !important
  ; orient:             none                    !important
  }

Note: This code assumes XUL namespace, therefore it requires the presence, near the top of userChrome.css, of the @namespace line which some people omit instead of copying it from userChrome-example.css

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090609 Shiretoko/3.5pre - Build ID: 20090609031036

Edit: It works with TMP 0.3.7.4pre.090516, even with the above code commented-out. (In case anyone wonders, the reason I looked for a userChrome.css solution first and came here afterwards, instead of the opposite, was that I already had a working CSS solution for SeaMonkey — and the latter means no TMP.)

Thanks to you fine folks, I have TMP up and running again within minutes of 3.5 release. You do fine work.

I lost three addons with the upgrade, but the one I was most concerned about was this one, and you guys really came through. Now to see about those other ones...

yes, dev build works with FF 3.5. But if I use the option "close all tabs" FF ist finishing at once. In FF 3.1 it closed only the tabs and nothing else.

^ That is a very good advice - for all involved.

There's a designated sticky in the Builds forum (see my signature). READ the last 10 or so pages in that thread to fix all of your problems.

Herby007,
this is not from TMP but is a new feature in Fx3.5. In fact, TMP provides you an option not to do so: TMP Options/Events/Tab closing > Do not close window ....

NONE of this has anything to do with the OP, please don't spam forums with nonsense. Search before posting (anywhere).

Good Luck! Wink
