Why is TMP always so slow to get an official release?

I mean, TMP is obviously the #1 tab addon and one of the top 5 addons out of thousands upon thousands.

Yet for some reason whenever FF has a major update, it's always takes so long get an official release.

I mean, currently the last release came in the middle of May.

Every other major extension/theme was up and running before 3.5 was even released.

What gives?

What is the purpose of this post?
It works. If you have problems, post in an appropriate thread (like the one in my sig). Otherwise, i don't see what you expect here. Another fruitless 'discussion'.
If most people who use TMP would donate a buck (yes, just 1 dollar), onemen and CPU wouldn't have to go to work and could sit back and polish a bugless extension. But they don't. What gives?

It would be nice if the current development version could at least be released as an interim release.

Since the release of Firefox 3.5, I've been getting a number of emails, bug reports, posts, etc for my Session Manager add-on telling me it doesn't work (the latest being today). I'd say that in at least 95% of the cases the user was running an incompatible version of TMP in Firefox 3.5.

TMP doesn't work with todays 3.6 nightlies build. Close-buttons on the tabs went missing after updating to todays build. Downloaded and installed yesterdays build and all is fine again.

i agree with you. The 3.0* release should've been a good learning experience after which - i was hoping - we won't have to go through this agony again. Yet, here we are. I have no idea why the delay. In my opinion they should just throw it to AMO with noted bugs. But who am i to tell 'em what to do!
