After installing FF 3.5.1 last night when I use the TMP Rename feature the font height is lost.

Thanks for the confirmation makondo.

Do you also see the problem I described in ' Indicator arrows not working in 3.5.1'?

I do but it doesn't bother me. First of all, set the number of rows to a high number. I think you're using 3. Set to 7-10 and you won't see the buttons until row 8 (or 11) which will not be too often, probably.
If you use Stylish, create a style:

@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gateke ... s.only.xul);

.scrollbutton-up
{ -moz-appearance: none !important;
background: red !important;
border: none !important; }
.scrollbutton-down
{ -moz-appearance: none !important;
background: black !important;
border: none !important; }

Of course, you can change whatever you want there, it's just an example. You can put this in your userChrome.css instead just as well.

Hope this helps, good luck, Terry!

Thanks, I'll get rid of the arrows by changing from 5 to 7 rows for time being (while I have an especially large number of tabs open).

Over in the FF forum, at least one other TMP user was still getting blue arrows. So this seems to imply that you and I have some sort of add-on conflict that causes this.

--------------------

On the Rename issue, I've just realised that it's not just an appearance issue. The actual rename doesn't seem to be working at all now!

Edit: Seems to be only if the option Rename all pages with same address is enabled.

You could use a vertical tab bar to avoid the need of many rows.

Thanks. Never used vertical tabs before but I'll give it a try.

Any idea of the cause makondo? If a bug, any fix plans known?

This seems to be an issue with having the Windows classic look.

As a workaround for right now, you can decrease your font size. I think 7 works good

Thanks CPU! I don't use the option often enough to worry about it but do you mean the windows font? That's a bit extreme ;-)

I'm not sure exactly what is causing it. I quickly just changed to classic once I noticed this was the only difference between me and screenshot and boom there it was.

Nope. Just this one. And i wouldn't even know if not for the Terry's post (i don't use this option very often). I think, if the window would be resizable, you should be able to 'drag' it out of the problem.

Thanks for the follow-ups. I don't really want to mess with something as basic as fonts.

Here's my InfoLister output from FF 3/5.2, in case anyone can spot a likely conflict.

I have none of those exts. except for BBCode and TMP. BTW, Terry, the latest released version is 3.8.1 (get it from onemen' signature), you should update your TMP.

Thanks makondo.

I've now updated TMP to 3.8.1. (I'm puzzled why the automatic FF update process doesn't work with TMP?)

Also uninstalled those extra themes, which I've never used anyway.

Squashed text issue remains.

You had a dev.build before. They don't update, apparently. The update for them from this site has been removed temporarily due to some server problems. There's a sticky about it. But, it looks like Gary will re-start this again, so you should be able to get updates for dev.builds in the future. Updates for the released versions from AMO didn't change. When a new version will be released, you should get a notification.

Oh, yes, the problem still remains ;-)

Thanks makondo. When I get time I'll start a methodical procedure to isolate the cause. Meanwhile any other suggestions welcomed please.

(BTW, this remains the only one of many forums I use which NEVER remembers I'm registered! I have to 'logout' and login again every time I reply to a post, including those in my own threads.)
