Tab Mix Plus

I had been using Shimoda Hiroshi's Tabbrowser Extensions (TBE) for some time now, tolerating the issues and working around the frequent problems. But I finally had to abandon it after a critical showstopper problem.

I am looking now to Tab Mix Plus to be a better TBE and so far it is definitely on track!. It still needs some additional functions and I still need to use few other plugins - like Session Saver by rue and Duplicate Tab by twanno (for merging tabs). But hopefully, Tab Mix Plus will eventually provide this functionality and once again you'll only need 1 extension for all your tabbed browsing needs.

i forgot to add it would be nice to hv the save Current sessison as in TBE and a close Button on every Tab

a session manager is being developed by onemen,

u can add a close button on every tab by going to appearance tab in the options

same here...TMP rocks!

I still find it strange that Firefox doesn't have this functionality built in... One of the great things about Firefox is its tabbed browsing, but without an extension such as TMP, the tab prefs are crap.

That doesn't seem to work here. (V 2.4.1) I enable that option, but
- nothing happens (no icon on tab)
- when I look at the option again, it is unchecked.

I just wanted to stop by and say I also have been using Shimoda Hiroshi's Tabbrowser Extensions for a long time, UNTIL I found Tab Mix Plus. Please, keep up the great work, your efforts are appreciated!!!
