Running 3.8.2pre091012 on FF 3.5.3.

'Open new tabs next to current tab' isn't working, new tabs are opening at the end of the tab bar.

Is anyone else getting this? Was working fine before till I updated to the latest build.

Ah thanks, I must've missed it from being too used to looking below that field.

There appears to be a bug now in the Minefield builds starting with the 091017 nightly, Change set ID: 72074ac5a64e. Daily build thread with list of bug patches applied is here.

The Bookmarks folder context menu item "Open All in Tabs" does not work.

I just checked the latest Namoroka Branch nightly and "Open All in Tabs" works as expected. So far, this bug appears to be isolated to Minefield Trunk at least until the culprit patch gets added to the Namoroka Branch.

The browser.tabs.loadFolderAndReplace (boolean) preference was removed in a recent bug ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395024 )

The quick fix is to manually recreate the preference.

The bug in question is Bug #395024 [Firefox:Places]-browser.tabs.loadFolderAndReplace is obsolete, remove it from firefox.js [All]

I can confirm Bluefang's "quick fix".

On a side note, I am seeing the following TMP-related errors in the Error Console on, for example, opening a bookmark:
Error: p.onStateChange is not a function
Source file: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 952
----------
Error: p.onSecurityChange is not a function
Source file: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml

I think this bug affects tab mix plus from the version 1...
I can't confirm this though...
The problem is: if the bookmark list goes over the bookmark bar (or the address bar) and you right click on a bookmark on the list, the list suddenly closes and the opened menu is that of the thing under the list...
I don't know if it is clear...
And there is also another bug: I set the row bar to 4 and min tab width to 100 and max to 250: now I have 12 tab on each row, but if I make others tab and go over the third, the tabs on each row become 11.
I have a 1280x800 resolution and the attached settings.
Bye.

I tested tmp on a new profile and with the same settings: the bug continues to happen; also in my previous post, I said that after the third it happens, but it is an error, after the fourth (I set 4 row and on the fifth it happens).
Firefox 3.5.3
tmp: last develop build
No other extension was installed besides tmp.
Bye.

1. post your settings
2. when you set max rows to 4 and you have 5 rows of tabs then scroll button are visible, so you have less space for tabs. so if when you have 4 rows you can see 12 tabs on a row when scroll buttons are visible it is possible that you only see 11

I posted here about crashes I started seeing in Minefield with the above pref "readded" manually. I assume TMP will have to not readded this pref. Is that correct?

Yes, I had it as boolean, but had it set to false. It appears that it needs to be set to true.

you can set browser.tabs.loadFolderAndReplace to true or false it did not cased any crash on my pc

this pref is only used in one function in TMP code. when you open multiple tabs
any crashes that happen in other circumstances is not related to this pref

Set to either true or false, I am no longer crashing. Go figure. :roll:

I've noticed that the preferences window looks bad on Mac OS X for a few builds now. So I decided to look into it a little.

Check the attached files.

To get it to work I added the following to mac.css:
The selected-pref-bg.png is a hack to make it look like the tab is selected. I am not sure how it actually done on real preference tabs though.

Code:
#TM_ButtonBox {
   -moz-appearance: -moz-mac-unified-toolbar !important;
}

#tabMixTabBox
{
   margin-top: 25px !important;
   margin-bottom: 10px !important;
}

#tabMixEventsPrefs tabbox
{
   margin-top: -25px !important;
}

#pref-tabmix #TMBox #TM_ButtonBox button[checked="true"] {
   background-color: transparent !important;
   background: url(selected-pref-bg.png) no-repeat center center !important;
}

#pref-tabmix #TMBox #TM_ButtonBox button:hover {
    background-color: transparent !important;
)

and the following line in chrome.manifest:
Code:
style   chrome://tabmixplus/content/pref/pref-tabmix.xul   chrome://tabmixplus/skin/mac.css os=Darwin

--

I noticed that you are using the Dialog tag for your preference window. I would think that the prefwindow tag is better. You can read more about it here:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Prefer ... prefwindow

Ever time I open FF I have 2 windows of it opening though I had only 1 window upon last closing. :(

This bug appeared very recently. Maybe it's linked with the parallel use of TabGroups Manager and Tree Style Tab but in any case if I disable Tab Mix Plus this problem disappears...

I also tried the latest beta without improvement. Maybe I should roll back to 0.3.8.1.

It this a know issue?

Besides thanks for the good work. :)
