I've been getting the same error for a while now, not being able to open more then x rows of tabs. When this first started, I did the whole showing javascript errors in console, and I got these errors, when opening/closing tabs, moving tabs backwards in the session, among other things.

Error: p.onSecurityChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 890

Error: p.onStateChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://tabmixplus/content/tab/tab.js
Line: 1583

Error: p.onSecurityChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 548

Error: p.onProgressChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://tabmixplus/content/tab/tab.js
Line: 1499

As of recently, I still have the same problem with tabmixplus, so I tried recreating the errors, I was able to replicate them all with ease. In addition, I now also receive these two errors as well.

Error: p.onStatusChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 519

Error: p.onStateChange is not a function
Source File: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml
Line: 920

Thanks for the info (being probably the first 'proper' post i've seen here;-))!
The tabbrowser errors are from Fx itself. TMP related ones are wherever it says tabmixplus, just so you know. So, the only TMP related errors are the line 1499 and 1583. I think, i used the get them too a while ago and i think it had to do with AVG toolbar (which is now disabled). Do you use AVG? (yes, i do see you have some Norton' stuff there).

I'm not sure what you mean by 'more than x rows of tabs'. Did you set how many rows to display and it doesn't show them all? Try disabling your theme and use the default one. If this doesn't solve it, read this sticky and follow the steps to find which ext. is conflicting.

Yeah, I included the Fx errors as well as they seemed very similar to the TMP errors, so I hoped it may help in some way.
As for AVG, no I don't use AVG or anything similar to it.
I have TMP set to display 20 rows, but at the moment, it'll get to 6 rows, then it wont show any subsequent rows until that row is full and another tab on the next row. It's kind of confusing to explain.
Say I have 16 tabs on row 1, and 1 on row 2, row 2 wont display till it has 16 tabs and 1 tab on row 3, if that helps at all?
As for conflicting extensions, i've been using these same extensions for a long time. The problems just suddenly began a while ago.
And yes, switching to the default theme fixes the TMP problem, and i'm unable to replicate any of those prior error console messages with the default theme. Perhaps there is a compatibility problem with it?
Cheers for the fast reply Smile

Any particular reason beyond incompatibilities?
Sorry, i'm not meaning to be rude, I just really hate the look of the default theme, and i'm rather partial to how this FF2 theme looks. :p

The point is, again, to find the cause. If you don't experience the same issue with with the default theme, than it's safe to assume the theme is the culprit. If it is, onemen can look and see if he can fix it or you'll have to let the author of the theme know about the conflict so that they can fix it (which you should do any way).

Oh, well then I apologize. I misread what he said :p
Ultimately from what I can see, this problem ONLY occurs when I have the Firefox 2 theme on. I cannot recreate the errors with the other two themes at all. Which is kind of disappointing, as i'm rather fond of the firefox2 theme. Confused

Also, upgrading to 3.6 fixed the errors in the theme as well. Apologies for wasting your time. Cheers for the prompt and friendly help Smile

Looks like I spoke to soon, it re-appeared the very next time I restarted Firefox. Looks like there is a compatibility error with the Firefox 2 theme?
