Unread tabs are set to be italic and red. As you can tell on the screenshot, it's black because it's been read.

Theme is CrystalFox Qute 3.7, but I disabled it and same thing.
Platform is Windows 7 32-bit
Firefox 3.6

thanks.

"Other tabs" are in italics even when the option is not selected. Toggling the option makes no difference

maybe you set unread tab to be in italic ?

Theme?
platform?
Firefox version?

Thanks for the update, onemen!

Guest above, did you read this sticky yet?

Please, repeat what the problem is step by step (your settings and what the actual result you see), it's hard to figure it out flipping pages. Thanks!

I deleted the post from a Guest after mine above. This is second time - i think you get the message now: change your language if you want your posts remain for others to read. Anything can be said in a decent civilized respectful language. Try it. And this time, post in the proper forum, this thread is about dev.builds, not a request thread.

I am running the latest build (pre100213) and have noticed when I open numerous links from a single website, the first opens (correctly) next to the current tab, but subsequent ones are opened in tabs positioned two or more tabs to the right...in other words, these additional "open link in new tab" requests wind up being honored with a new tab, but the location of these tabs are well right of where they should be (setting selected is "open tabs next to current one").

This is under FF 3.6-- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6

Thanks.

Yep we have been discussing this and we are hoping that this get corrected, but until then use build tab_mix_plus-0.3.8.3pre.100125.xpi from http://tmp.garyr.net/dev-builds/ . This is the last build that works as we like it. Hopefully we will get a build of our favorite plugin that corrects this.

Downloaded the most recent development build (pre.100305) and find this still hasn't been corrected (at least on my machine). Can others confirm? If so...back to pre.100125 until further notice?

Thanks,

this is DEFINITELY corrected in the latest build.
But do as onemen says, Untick 'change opening order' in tabmix prefs under Events/Tab opening, I also untick 'only if related to current tab' as well as I want ALL tabs to open this way.

After updating to 0.3.8.3pre.100305, TMP does not remember closed tabs any more. The 'Closed Tabs' button on the toolbar is disabled. There is no way to restore a closed tab.

Go into your TMP prefs and then events and then the 'tab features' tab and make sure the 'enable undo close tabs' is ticked and that 'max number of closed tabs' is set to MORE than 0.

okay, after reporting the problem above, i downgraded to 0.3.8.2 stable, but after reading stevvie's advice, installed 0.3.8.3pre.100305 again. this time undo close tabs works, without me changing any settings. and yes, those settings are set as you described (the 'enable undo close tabs' is ticked and that 'max number of closed tabs' is set to MORE than 0), as they were set like this in the previous dev-build.

Tab bar context menu is missing and tab bar location is reset every time a new window opens.

That fixed the context menu but not the tab bar location. It resets to the default location every time a new window opens.

D A,

What do you mean by the tab bar location resetting?

Every time I open a new window (including when Firefox starts) The tab bar moves to the top of the window, below the location bar from the bottom of the window. If I reapply the settings for the location of the tab bar it moves to the correct location only to be moved back to the default the next time a new window opens.

The error messages I get are the ones I posted.

What version of the browser are you using? Are you using a 3rd party theme?

IIRC, I do not think moving of the tab bar is a native Fx function yet. You may need to check this sticky post that Makondo is always referring people to for how to troubleshoot the tab bar moving issue.
