Tab Mix Plus

I've just updated to this build from a stable working configuration but I am now experiencing the following problems:

SESSION MANAGER:
Intermittently refuses to save Tab Sessions ("Save This Window") - reports "no tab open", or "cannot save empty window" errors.

PHANTOM / GHOST WINDOWS:
When a new tab is opened and then closed the tab disappears but:
- The tab display toolbar remains double-height if multiple tabs are open (i.e. as if the tab were still open);

AND

- the site page remains on screen and will only disappear by moving to another tab.

BREAKING OTHER ADD-ONS:
- Toggle Private Browsing 1.8 now broken

For me there are similar session management problems, including:
- closing a tab keeps the page opened (somewhere, as the tab seems closed and no other is active in this moment...) instead of automatically switching to the other tab (in my case left of the closed one)
- restarting FF (with restore opened tabs option turned on) brings back ALL tabs from previous sessions - including the closed ones!
- closing several tabs in multirow mode does not bring me to the single row even with one tab opened...

Yes, there multiple issues with the 0717 build, they're being reported in the dev.build thread (see my signature). I'm sure onemen will try to address them when he gets a chance. In the mean time, install the previous version.

I also have a major problem!

I just restarted FireFox and all the tabs in my session are now blank! I switched to Last Session and Previous To Last and still all blank. I even copied an old session backup from the backup folder and it’s showing up blank too!

I disabled all add-ons apart from TMP but no change. Then I realised that a new version of TMP had been installed when I restarted. This is definitely to blame!

You're welcome! We'll have to wait and see if onemen will fix the problems but in the mean time, if you have Fx set to autoupdate exts., you better UNcheck it (very bad idea anyway!) and check Ask me what to do. This way you should be able to avoid getting the broken 0717 version again.
