where is that report ?

In the Beta6 Add-ons manager, which states, "Tab Mix Plus is incompatible with Firefox 4.0b6."

Curiously, that statement might not be correct. I put it that way as I don't really do much with 4.0, so don't really know what does or does not work. However, I just noticed that, in the Add-Ons manager, the TMP options work, and my color choices for tabs also work.

Very strange: Dictionary Search was shown as also being incompatible, but the "Enable" button was shown, and it worked: I clicked on, restarted Beta 6; the extension is still shown as incompatible, yet I just used it to check a word.

So, perhaps I need to somewhat revise my first post: "Be advised that the Beta 6 add-ons manager claims that TMP is incompatible, which incompatibility may extend only as far as the statement that the extension is incompatible."

I leave it to you and/or others who understand such matters to report this to the proper authorities, or otherwise provide erasers to users of their extensions so that such users can erase the improper statements as to compatibility within the add-ons manager.

I have the close buttons (set to active&hover) but favicons are missing.
Some links open in the current tab and i never know when this will happen.
New tab button and tabs list button show even thought are set not to - the option was re-set (not by me, i had to uncheck it again).
Multi-row doesn't work.

After last night's update I see no favicon and no close button in the left and right of each tab respectively as it used to be.

...actually, the space for the favicons and the close button (x) are there, but there is no icon displayed. I realized this when I clicked the empty space where the close button should have been displayed and the tab closed as usual. So, the button must be there, but without an icon. Seems like a graphucs issue.

There appears to be a problem with opening a link in a new tab - always opens in the current tab. I dont see anything on the Mozillazine forum about this in the FF core.

I first noticed with this Tinderbox build:

Just for info. Its better to post the changeset id of the build, which you easy can find in "about:buildconfig". Its the number behind ..../rev/

    we changed our preference to reflect this:
    extensions.tabmix.noprogress replaced by extensions.tabmix.hideurlbarprogress.
  • Fixed: No close button and tab icon on tabs after bug 593967 changed tabbrowser-tab binding
  • Fixed: Links from Google result page not opening in new tabs.
  • Fixed: new tab button is floating above the bottom row when using multi-row in windows 7.
  • Fixed: tab list on tabs scroll buttons not working as expected in RTL languages.
  • Fixed: links with target "_new" reuse last tab or window opened from that link without setting focus to the tab or window
  • Fixed: incompatibility with Add This extension.
  • Fixed: Typo in checkTabs function in Tabmix code made problem with multi-row.

Am i missing something? Doesn't it mean the urlbar progress shouldn't show but it should show in tabs instead? 'cause here it still shows in the urlbar for me.

Thanks for the update, onemen, really appreciate you doing it so fast - using Mf since last night was a real PITA!

we have 2 seperet preference
* Progress meter on tabs
* Hide in adress bar

user can set both off or on or only one of them on

ugh, progress in url bar would have to be the most rediculous and poorly thought out landings ever to grace firefox development.

The latest build made tab contextual menus not work for me in 4.0beta6 :<
4.0beta6 also broke app tab behaviour with TMP installed, as in app tabs started to obey the min-width setting of TMP instead of using an independent fixed width of something like 32px.

About the last row is cut off 1px, I found a solution.
The scrollbox should add 1px more, both in XP and Vista/7, for example:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=544818 landed but with TMP enabled the progress bar doesn't show on the tab, no big deal tho

Google Voice is broken.

For example trying to add a new contact in history does nothing when you click add.

Disable TabMixPlus and no more issue.
