Thanks for updating Tab Mix Plus, but the issue with the close buttons missing from tabs when using the extension Modest Tab is still there. I have posted several messages on the Mozilla site for the developer, but he never replies. It's up to you to fix it, onemen. You are my only hope, Obi-Wan. I'm not the only one wanting it fixed either. Just look at the reviews and you'll see people saying they won't use it til it gets fixed. It may be a possible conflict with Tab Mix Plus. I understand you're busy fixing god knows how many bugs, but please look into this issue if possible. I would appreciate it immensely. Thanks!!

You mean you have close buttons on your tabs using Modest Tab? I almost typed Modest Mouse. lol. Tell me which extensions you are using and which version of Tab Mix Plus. Thanks!

onemen is the TMP developer. He probably tested the latest dev.build and both exts. in a clean profile which is what you should do too.
Please read the troubleshooting tips linked in my signature.

1. Since 3.1.16 when opening a session with many windows and many tabs the tab bar on windows with many tabs displayed an (some) extra gray row(s) - a glitch that repeats itself in FF4 - see pic. Using session manager - dunno if its fault. Tried many workarounds - disabling SM, manually pasting links in new window and deleting the old etc - none worked.

2. Not really a bug but needs fixing - in FF4 multi rows do not use the space under the FF button.

3. Maybe add an option to control spacing (gap) between FF tabs ?

Just to say TabMixPlus is in my top 10 extensions :D

EDIT : windows 7 Pro/Home /default FF theme
EDIT2 : 1. toggling the Menu bar fixes it on FF4 - NOPE - not always - glitch not fixed though when Menu bar is on : http://www.bild.me/bild.php?file=939811 ... glitch.jpg

Nope the 0.3.8.5 stable
browser.tabs.animate : no difference
To sum it up when I reopen a session (I have it to reopen previous session at start up) - not when opening a new one - I get when Menu bar is on : http://www.bild.me/bild.php?file=939811 ... glitch.jpg
on a window with many tabs (multi row)
No Menu bar - erratic, mostly OK
Present since FF 3.6.16 !!
Not sure if another addon issue.

Are you using the Fx default theme? Do you have any styles that have to do with toolbars? Did you try a clean profile (you can copy your session.rdf file in there to save testing time)? Install the latest dev.build.

Yes default theme
Disabled alls styles - opened FF - opened 30 new tabs (blank) - closed them - they left an empty row behind.
Disabled stylish - restarted - window appears ok - start creating tabs (blank) - as soon as a new row is created another empty one is created.
This behavior appeared in the last ~2 weeks
I'll install the latest dev and see
EDIT : Same with 0.3.8.6pre.110418a
Clean profile - ASAP

Yes it is - multirow is badly broken with 4
I have posted on it and other issues in the FF forums : http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=2172371
Have a look - tabMixPlus can do things about it

On my issue - it went away - at least for the moment - I'll keep an eye for it

Try the default theme, no personas or styles.

Do you have your toolbar icons on the tabbar? If so, tabs don't wrap under icons for me either. I guess it could be a request for onemen.

this is quite simple when you don't have any buttons on left side

Code:
#main-window[tabsintitlebar] .tabbrowser-tab:first-child {
  -moz-margin-start: 100px !important;
}

#main-window[tabsintitlebar] .tabbrowser-tabs {
  -moz-margin-start: -100px !important;
}

change the value of 100px according to your need

Not quite simple : Image
On the left there is this cutting off of tabs and on the right there is much space left

Edit : please have a look at the FF topic linked above - I am using classic Windows theme which seems not too well supported anyways

(does look better though lol)
