Using the Dev build of TMP and the closed tab list is always empty in Aurora 7a2.

That sounds like the JSON problem.

Use my modified build from a few posts above.

What version of browser?
What version of Tab Mix Plus?
What operating system?

but now ive got a problem with the close-button in 8.0a1 which doesnt work. i think it has something to do with the "hide caption titlebar plus" plugin. when i change the buttons to custom it stops working. with tmp deactivated it works again.

any suggestions?

thanks

Tab Mix Plus was good working, but I accidentally deleted my profile with browser. I reinstalled the same browser, but the context menu does not work. why did it happen and what should I do?

Can you try installing a version of Firefox directly from Mozilla? I would recommend a using a new profile, too. Install TMP and see if it works. If so, there may be something with the Yandex Firefox that is incompatible with TMP.

I combined Chris's nsiDOMwindow fix with Segaja Unofficial Patched Dev TMP build above to make Segaja/Chris Unofficial V2 Patched Dev TMP build and uploaded it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?24b1wirf8ahm4b6, I've tested it on latest Aurora 7.0a2 & Nightly 8.0a1 Win32 20110716 builds and have not seen any problems so far.

Thanks Chris for this needed fix...

Thanks very much guys - I'm using the Nightly Linux amd64 on Debian Wheezy, its looking good....
You've done all Nightly users a great service :-)

2011-07-25 9.56 GMT - I see the dev-build is working again - Nightly is obviously a rapidly moving target :-)

FWIW, TMP and 8a1 nightly (7.23) work well with my prefs. The only issue i have is that i can't exit - clicking the Exit menuitem does nothing and i have to close window which appears to crash Fx 'cause it starts with the 'Your last session ...." popup. Pretty odd, used to be able to close window with the window control w/out problems. Must be something new in Fx8. Other that that, everything is working as usual here.

I can confirm that TMP official is, magically, working fine again on Nightly now.
Just like what makondo is experiencing, there is no confirmation when closing firefox with mulitple tabs opening even if I have set it in TMP, and opening firefox will have a session manager pop out as if firefox has crashed in the previous session.
Closed Tabs List is working as expected though.

Im not experiencing the same luck Im using FF nightly 07252011 and with the latest TMP build I cannot resize the tabs, they have changed colors and dont open/reopen in the same place.

Right now Im using the special build from Rob64rock and it is working very well.

I created a new profile, there TMP is working properly. in the old profile, I deleted all add-ons that are associated with the tabs, but it's still there TMP does not work. i need to TMP is work fine in my old profile :(

It may not necessarily be another tab-related addon that is the source of the conflict. Disable all other addons, leaving only TMP enabled and see if the conflict remains. If it is gone, enable one addon at a time along with TMP until the conflict returns. Then, confirm the conflict with just that suspected addon and TMP enabled. Report back here what you find out.

Tab Mix Plus Dev-Build 0.3.8.6pre.110429a
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:8.0a1) Gecko/20110725 Firefox/8.0a1 ID:20110725030803

With a clean profile and only TMP, selecting "current page", "duplicate page" or "user location" for the "load on new tabs" preference, then opening a new tab, when I enter a URL in the address bar, or select a site from the drop down menu, the current page reloads instead of going to the new page. When I enter the new page a 2nd time, the new page then loads.

Selecting "blank page" or "home page" as the option did not cause a problem.

Bug 455694 - Implement animation for tab reordering and detaching (via drag and drop) - is going to land soon.
it will probably brake Tabmix tab reordering.
