using Aurora 8.0a2 (2011-08-17) and modified TMP (tab_mix_plus-dev-build-110806a.xpi). tab can be rearranged on tab bar by dragging n dropping it but it can't be dragged to bookmark toolbar. when i do so, the tab being dragged will be split to a new window.

There's an easy workaround to that: use the icon in the address bar instead...

EDIT: Well, I think I'm done with Nightly and Aurora builds, both new updates literally broke the browser. When I open either browser the process firefox.exe shows up in the task manager then disappears. Will try reinstalling with same profile...otherwise stick to Beta/Release...

That happened to me and I discovered Greasemonkey was the culprit.

This.

Still....tabs can be dragged but if it's not to place them in order (1st , 2nd) n the tab bar, all the other places will make a new window, even if I try to make them into the bookmark toolbar, it will be a new window.
If there was an answer to tha, please refer me to the post , elsewhere if you can answer me, that would be great.

Thanks in advance and sorry if by that post I'm beccoming repetitive.

you need to include a date when you add a new dev build.

You mean you don't have a date there? I see it: tab_mix_plus-dev-build-110806a.xpi. Or you meant to quote this: "Before Fx7. Patience is virtue"?

I just don't get that strange request up there ^^

I was pointing out that the version I posted included the date. However, if memory serves, onemen's dev version file name does not.

Hover over the "Dev-Build" link in onemen's OP at the link in your signature. Tell me what you see?

Do you mean this: "Tab Mix Plus Dev-Build 0.3.8.6pre.110429a Released (Older builds)" ?
Hover over the 'Dev-Build link, i don't see a number. This is the only place i don't see the number. Is that important if it's right there next to the link and installs with the number?

I think you are missing the other poster's point. If all you have is that .xpi file on your computer, you have to open it or install it to find out the date of it. At least, with mine and the one you are referring to, the date is part of the file name.

To expand on that, I will include either the date or a version number in the file name for when I modify a .xpi for compatibility as I used to do or as I did when I made onemen's recommended modification to TMP and posted it here for others to try. It is how I would keep things straight.

Disabled scriptish n now it works again...did you try checking if a script was the culprit instead?

No, because I was trying to find the extension I assumed was causing it. Scriptish works fine for me in all versions of FF (and always has) so it seems you have (had) the same problem as me but in reverse.

I'll go check some scripts now......!

Thanks for the heads-up.
