Currently, if you close the last tab in a group Firefox takes you to the group select page, leaving you to choose from an empty group and whatever other groups you have open.

I'd like to see an option similar to closing the last tab in the browser so that closing the last tab in a group opens either a blank tab, the home page or a user defined page.
