Tab Mix Plus

Is there a problem with the new version 0.4.0pre111126a when the tabs are at the bottom, below the content?

I have TabMixPlus set to open tabs at the bottom, below the content. When I start Firefox 8.0.1 and then open a second tab, this is what happens:
* No tab bar appears at the bottom.
* At the top, obscuring File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, there is an unreadable jumble of superposed icons.
* Ctrl+PageDown and Ctrl+PageUp still move between the tabbed pages, so Firefox has opened the pages correctly, and the tabs are still working properly behind the scenes.

If I right-click the Menu Bar and hit "Customize", then close "Customize" without doing anything, everything goes back to normal, except that the RoboForm toolbar gets switched on.

If I do nothing and open a few more tabs, the situation sometimes corrects itself after say four or nine tabs have been opened without my doing anything (and no RoboForm toolbar appears). Sometimes it doesn't correct itself.

If I change the setting in TabMixPlus to have the tab bar above the content, the tab bar appears below the menu bar as soon as a second tab is opened, and everything works normally without these problems.

All this started only after installing the new version of TabMixPlus this morning.

i made some change in the way Tabmix move tab to the bottom of the screen
according to your description there is a Bug.

from your description i understand that your tababr is hidden when you have only one tab,
i'm almost sure that this is the problem that i have to fix.

Regarding RoboForm toolbar, are you saying that the RoboForm toolbar is visible before you enter customize and hidden when you finish customization ?

I am using Firefox 8.0.1 with 32-bit Windows Professional on an HP desktop, with Kaspersky 9.1.0.124(b). Everything is fully and obsessively updated.

Yes, I have set things up to hide the tab bar when there is only one tab. The problem that I described arises at the point where I select a second tab. I think my earlier explanation covers everything, although it may have been a little too concise.

I never switch the RoboForm toolbar on, because it's just a waste of real estate when you can always right-click to get RoboForm going. I simply mentioned the following strange behaviour. When I right-click the menu bar, hit "Customize", and then close "Customize" without doing anything, two things happen:
* the problem with the bottom tabs fixes itself, and
* for some totally unknown reason, the RoboForm toolbar switches on.

Do you see any errors in console? Have you tried a clean profile? disabling Roboform?

Thanks --- glad to help. You are doing an excellent thing with this extension. I would find Firefox quite clumsy without it. Much appreciated, and keep up the good work.

Interestingly, clicking "Customize", doing nothing, and closing "Customize" *still* results in the RoboForm toolbar switching on. This presumably demonstrates some quirk of how RoboForm attaches itself, and has no relation to TabMixPlus --- hardly a problem!
