There is a visual bug with the LavaFox Purple theme:

This is what tab_mix_plus-0.3.8.7pre.111112a-test looks like:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~JBarrett847 ... a-test.jpg

Now this is what the current dev versions, starting with tab_mix_plus-0.4.0pre.111126a look like (messes up theme; orange is W7 scheme colour):
http://homepage.eircom.net/~JBarrett847 ... 11126a.jpg

Also, by the way; the old version had space below the tabs, whereas the latest version has the tabs going right to the bottom of the screen.

It would be nice if there was still that space, because I put the mouse out of the way at the bottom of the screen a lot when reading, and this causes the tab description tooltips to pop up now, which is a bit annoying.

Still present in 111129a...just wanted to point out in case it was thought to be fixed. Thanks.

After updating to 0.4.0pre.111126a tab scrolling now scrolls 2 tabs at a time, same with 111127a

Anything I can do to fix that, or just wait for an update?

Thanks :)

With Tabmix disabled, it scrolls just 1 tab at a time, re-enabled, back to scrolling 2 at a time :/

check in your mouse configuration how many item it mode for each roll?

Mine is also scrolling 2 at a time. I do not have the Tabmix extension installed. I am running 111129a.

Not sure where the mouse configuration setting you reference is located?

With all the issues introduced, I have reverted back to 0.3.8.7 until 0.4.x becomes usable. Thanks.

Do you realize that by not helping out by doing some troubleshooting and then passing on your findings, you slow down there being any resolution to the issues you are seeing?

I understand that quite well and while I've helped out over the past years with this extension I unfortunately do not currently have the time necessary to troubleshoot all the new issues which have been introduced. If they are still lingering later in the month I will pitch in again as I should have more of an ability to work through the troubleshooting steps at that time.

Thanks for your concern.

When I install any of these versions middle-click on the URL stops working.

I currently installed this version as it was suggested in one of the threads in this forum.

i don't know what do you mean by "any of these versions", every version have a number to identify any problem that related to it.

when you say "middle-click on the URL" how do you use it?
on the go button, on the popup list ?

do you het the same result on clean profile with Tabmix the only extension?

Oh sorry about not being specific. I have FF 9.0 latest beta, and when I said "any of these version" I overlooked and thought there is a link to each version of the extension, when there is only to the latest one. I tried the latest version and it didn't work with that.

When I say middle-click on URL, I mean when there is an URL on a webpage and when I click it with the middle mouse button it doesn't do anything. I get this error in the Error console:
Quote:
Error: Tabmix.isGMEnabled is not a function
Source File: chrome://tabmixplus/content/links/contentLinks.js
Line: 464

I will try to install the extension on an empty profile later.

kustodian,

can you post your extensions list, also look in our Troubleshooting
and see how to find the extensions that is incompatible with Tabmix.

This bug is caused by an extensions that prevents parts of Tabmix start-up functions

I tired it on an empty profile and it worked without a problem. I also tried disabling all extensions and it still didn't want to work. I think the problem is with Scriptish which is a fork of Greasemonkey. Somehow TMP thinks I have GM installed and in this part of the code it tries to import a GM function:
Code:
// Greasemonkey >= 0.9.10
      Components.utils.import("resource://greasemonkey/util.js");
      if ('function' == typeof GM_util.getEnabled) {
        Tabmix.isGMEnabled = GM_util.getEnabled;
        return;
      }
    } catch (e) {
      // Greasemonkey < 0.9.10
      if ('function' == typeof GM_getEnabled) {
        Tabmix.isGMEnabled = GM_getEnabled;
        return;
      }

But it fails so this part of the code doesn't work:
Code:
isGreasemonkeyScript: function TMP_isGreasemonkeyScript(href) {
    if (Tabmix.isGMEnabled()) {
      if (href && href.match(/\.user\.js(\?|$)/i))
        return true;
    }

    return false;
  },

I can't make a dump of my extensions, since I don't have an extension which would do this and AMO is down atm for me, so I can't install any. But I'm pretty sure it is a problem with Scriptish.

This is also occurring under Mac OS X 10.6.8, Nightly 11.0a1 20111205, default theme, a clean profile with only TMP 0.4.0pre.111129a - default settings except "When tabs don't fit width" multi-row 3, no error message in console

kustodian,
to dump you extensions list use Firefox build-in Troubleshooting Information from Help > Troubleshooting Information.

regarding Scriptish, what puzzled me is that on your current profile you see the error with all you other extensions disabled.

try new clean profile with Tabmix and Scriptish also post your Tabmix and Scriptish settings
do you see this error on all pages or only on pages with user script?
