The skipping of tabs (every two instead of every one) when scrolling through the tab bar is still present as well. I can list my extensions if that would be helpful. I would not have an opportunity to assess the potential of 0.4.x having introduced a specific conflict until later in the month.

i don't understand the what is the problem with the 2nd screenshot, is it related to the missing titles ?

Test in the new profile with only Tabmix installed，No problems.
However, using Firefox Weave Sync bookmark synchronization problem has emerged.
Use the same type of expansion Tab Utilities does not have this problem.

You may want to consider a style or .css code in your userChrome.css for that. Not everybody would like the space. I see a lot more people fighting for vertical space and shrinking their tabs, tabbar/whatever to gain every pixel. Maybe onemen can provide a code for you to use. If you use Stylish, post it as a style there for those who might have the same wish. I just don't think it should be in this ext.

BTW, i don't really understand the problem though. Doesn't your window have a border? I assume you use full maximized window? Why not resize it to full screen manually with whatever space you need at the bottom?

Here we go, got a blank tab on install again!

Go to this thread on userstyles.org, on the last page (3), last post by srazzano - an xpi to install his ext. Popped a blank tab for me. For the record, my list is reset to the default.

Regarding the Weave Sync, i did not manage to reproduce this problem, how do you configure your sync
in this pc ?
what is your platform and Firefox version?

Recently i have changed the code that move the tabbar below content to the bottom of the screen.
this is first step to implementing vertical tabs.

In order to help me, finding any existing bug with these feature, i need you to test Tabmix with tabs on the button of the screen.

After the new profile and then re-install the TMP test. Found to cause problems because the import settings.

Try disabling the extended discovery led to this problem is TrayHotKey expansion.

FYI: I had no blank tab open when trying to install the xpi.

EDIT: Just a wild and crazy thought. It occurred to me that if you have a high quantity of styles, scripts and such tying up system resources, could you be experiencing a situation where the code to prevent the blank tab from opening can't run until after the tab opens. Like I said, this is just a wild and crazy thought.

Thanks, Ray! If your 'wild' guess is correct, i need to throw away this puter! I have 5 scripts and 150 styles (40 of them are disabled, not that it matters for the load).
I've found a setting about new tab in Linkification options (Functionality tab - unchecked top 2 options). Unchecked and didn't get a blank. I will keep watching though before i'll jump up-n-down in a glory dance.

I've stumbled upon some incompatibilities of TMP with 2 extensions on FF8@WinXP:

1. Go Parent Folder (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder) prevents usage of Ctrl-F1 in TMP 0.4.X, though it was OK in TMP 0.3.8 branch.
2. Tab Counter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-counter) shows incorrect number of opened tabs after one or more inactive tabs are closed. The tab counter value decreases by 1 in either case, and it requires 2 tab focus switches to make it display a correct value again (after the first switch it displays correct-1 even if 1 inactive tab was closed). This doesn't happen if an active tab is closed. Tab Counter works correctly without TMP and incorrectly with TMP 0.3.8 and 0.4.X branches.

All checked with all other extensions disabled. Are these TMP issues, or should I report them to the extensions' authors?
