Just to note, I still have this issue:

There is a visual bug with the LavaFox Purple theme:

This is what tab_mix_plus-0.3.8.7pre.111112a-test looks like:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~JBarrett847 ... a-test.jpg

Now this is what the current dev versions, starting with tab_mix_plus-0.4.0pre.111126a look like (messes up theme; orange is W7 scheme colour):

Also would like to see this request added:

Also, by the way; the old version had space below the tabs, whereas the latest version has the tabs going right to the bottom of the screen.

It would be nice if there was still that space, because I put the mouse out of the way at the bottom of the screen a lot when reading, and this causes the tab description tooltips to pop up now, which is a bit annoying.

Even just a 1-pixel space would be great, so it doesn't popup the tab description tooltip.

To clarify some more: I have the TMP tab bar at bottom of my screen, and the Windows task bar at top of screen, so tabs go right to the bottom of my screen.

Recently i have changed the code that move the tabbar below content to the bottom of the screen.
this is first step to implementing vertical tabs.

In order to help me, finding any existing bug with these feature, i need you to test Tabmix with tabs on the button of the screen

When you right click on the desktop in Windows 7, and click 'Personalize', it opens this:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~JBarrett847 ... Orange.jpg

In 'Window Color' there, orange is my Windows 7 scheme color; the latest TMP seems to take on this color for the tab bar background (I prefer it the old way, as this new way looks odd with my current theme).

i don't see it on my windows 7 machine with LavaFox V1-Purple 1.3.7 on Firefox 11.0a1

from where did you download this theme for windows 7
do you see the same on clean profile with Tabmix latest dev-build and LavaFox Purple theme, without any extra styles.

In Firefox 8, in a blank new profile, I install LavaFox purple 1.3.7 and the current dev version of TMP; I then go to TMP options and set tab bar to bottom, and I see the orange background.

I downloaded 11a1 Nightly as well, and verified it in that too, with same steps as above; verified on two different computers.

I don't have a custom Windows 7 theme, I just have Aero enabled, and I set the Aero color to orange.

i have windows 7 and i'v test the same. for me the toolbar at the bottom is black.

starting with 0.4.x dev-builds Tabmix don't add any background to bottom toolbar (transparent), to match Firefox default.

i still don't know why you see different background (you see the desktop) when you use that theme.
if you set tabs above content how it looks?

try to contact the theme developer for more help

Cheers, that fixed it :) thanks for looking into and sorting this.

One small feature request now would make this perfect:
With tab bar at bottom, and no addon bar, tabs go to very bottom of screen. I often put mouse away at bottom of screen when reading web pages, which now causes the tab description to pop up; a 1-pixel space there should sort that

#tabmix-bottom-toolbox {
margin-bottom:1px;
}

Didn't have UserChrome.css, so created it in *ProfileDir*/Chrome, and added that; works perfectly, ta :)
