Tab Mix Plus

1) I always had problem when I opened many tabs - list become so long I had to SCROLL it - it was extremely annoying, especially when I had ~100 tabs!
Such problem was solved in Opera very elegantly - they used multi-column list. It was extremely useful especially because I got wide display. I asked to implement such feature here, in Tab Mix Plus - but without success.

2) Now new version TMP added pain - list become very tiny, and I have to scroll even with little number of tabs!!! Why is that?!
I found extensions.tabmix.tabsList in about:config, but there's none about tab list size!

Before it was at least screen's size in vertical.
Scrolling is killing!

now it is 70% of the screen height.

currently i don't know how to set multi-columns

What part what file in tab_mix_plus-0.3.8.7-fx.xpi is responsible for popup?
Which part of popup function is responsible for popup width and length?

Honestly, I expected to be members of this forum more friendly.

P.P.P.S. I tried in on 'naked' profile - no difference. It's not a conflict with ext & themes, etc.

P.P.P.P.S. Same bug in Ubuntu Linux 11.04; FF5, last TMP version from Mozilla site!

I'm on vista and the code onemen gave above works fine for me.
Install Stylish, create a new style with that code. There's no reason why it wouldn't work unless another ext. conflicts with it. Please read the troubleshooting tips linked in my signature to find out.

I added this:

as style TMP in Stylish.

No effect.

All my exts:
Adblock Plus, Download Master Plugin 1.4.6, Stylish, TMP.
And the default theme. That's all.

File/line number/string of code?
Actually, it would be best to make it optional - if not in TMP/Options, then in about:config.

It will probably come with the next dev.build.
If you're using Stylish, you don't need userChrome.css. In fact, it's better if you delete everything there (or the file all together) so that you don't run into some conflict later. People often forget they have some code in that file when using Stylish as well. Stylish and userChrome.css do the same thing except Stylish allows preview and applies css code w/out the need to restart Fx.
That said, the code you quoted above works for me. I don't know why it doesn't work for you. Could be some Ubuntu thing maybe? Would be odd though.
To demonstrate, i set it to 200px:

#alltabs-popup, #tabslist, #btn_tabslist_menu
{ max-height: 200px !important; }
