Middle clicking an item in the History>>Recently closed tabs menu deletes the item from the the menu and I did not find an option to change this. This is very annoying as I always middle click links and end up deleting the tabs that I want to reopen.

I think it's TMP options>Mouse>Mouse Gestures>un-check Remove Tab Mix Plus menu list entries using middle-click.

Thanks; although this still isn't like the default firefox behavior, at least stuff isn't disappearing.

Hi !
Sorry to dig out this old thread but :
I have the same problem (deleting tabs when middle-clicking on them in the "Recently closed tabs") so I've unchecked the box but it doesn't change anything... (tab opens but also disapears from the menu)
Am I missing something ?

when you open tab from recently closed tabs the tab is obviously no longer closed

Sure, but without Tab mix plus (ie with firefox), the tab stayed in the menu even after a middle click which could be handy if you need to reach it again later...

Oh my god... you're right.
I really thought it did but I must been using TMP for too long now !
