Try to scroll across tabs .... put your mouse over the tab bar (when you have many tabs and the scroll buttons are visible) and scroll with your mouse wheel.

Ok. I did that and was able to scroll tabs one-by-one without TMP enabled.

Same results...one at a time without TMP, at least two at a time with TMP.

It seems to the untrained user (me), something with the sensitivity of the scrollwheel and TMP is at play and changed in 0.4.x vs. previous vintages.

I am running FF 9.0.1 at work (as opposed to the nightlies on my home computer which has been the source of my previous input) and can report the scroll by one tab issue is not fixed. I uninstalled and reverted back to 0.3.8.7 and am able to scroll through the tabs one at a time.

The new build solves the tab-scrolling issue for me (FF 9.0.1). Thanks!

And for me as well. I was about to downgrade to TMP 0.3.8.7 for testing purposes, but fortunately
I checked here first ... :-) ...!

Thanks onemen, your efforts are truly appreciated. A lot.

I won't even grouse about partial tabs switching over to the lefthand edge of the tab bar ...

Cheers,

Update...based on other reports of success, I reinstalled the latest dev build with FF 9.0.1. I discovered the tab scroll issue has been fixed. However, I also disabled the extension "All In One Gestures"- v. 0.22.1. I had suspected there might be some conflict given the similarity of the two with certain functionality. I plan to do the same tonight on my home machine running the 64-bit nightlies to see if that resolves the tab scroll issue as well with the latest TMP dev. build.

I would be interested to learn if others are experiencing the tab scroll issue (2+ at a time) with All In One Gestures enabled/disabled...

with Tabmix and All In One Gestures installed go to All In One Gestures options dialog > General Preference > un-check Scroll wheel in tab bar

onemen,

FYI - Bug #714281 [Firefox:Tabbed Browser]-Show the all tabs button only when the tab strip overflows [All] landed recently in Nightly. It appears to override if you have (TMP Options > Display > Tab Bar > Show on tab bar >) All tabs button checked except, as the title says, when tabs overflow that tab bar.

Firefox Extensin Guru has posted CSS code for anyone interested in having the button remain displayed at all times.

That was it. Bingo. Problem solved. Thanks for ending this national emergency. :-)

Using the 0.4.0pre.120118a I cannot scroll the bookmarks menu with the mouse in Linux. Tried in Firefox 8.0.1 and 10b5. In the Windows it scrolls ok. The 0.4.0pre.120114a works ok in both Windows and Linux.

Style of "close" button is not similar to other tab bar buttons (new tab, panorama). Especially on mouse hover.

Can you fix it?

No need to fix if it is Fx default design.

I've noticed the following issue (using latest TMP 0.4.0pre.120118a):
If you install this useful restartless addon: Auto Complete
then, with TMP enabled,
whenever you type something in the awesomebar,
the addon's feature to autocomplete & autopreview the domain works ok,
BUT if you select one address from the results and press enter,
then it takes you to empty page ("Go to a Website").
E.g

but when selecting a result & pressing enter takes you to
Image

On the other hand, with TMP disabled, the addon works ok.

Thank you

just test Tabmix and Auto Complete without any problems
try the 2 extensions on new clean profile
