Tab Mix Plus

I am running Windows 7 ultimate on a Toshiba a505 laptop, Firefox 12 and TMP 0.4.0.2pre.120507a , though I've this problem with earlier versions; I can't remember exactly when it started, unfortunately.

The problem is simple: I cannot get the "force to open in new tab" , on the "links" option, option to respond. No matter what I set it to, it always forces a new tab to open whenever any link or address is opened. It is as though the feature, which is a major reason for using Tab Mix Plus, is "stuck" and cannot be changed.

I am not sure where to start looking for this problem. Since some options interact, I've gone through TMP as well as Firefox 12, looking for possible options which may override this window, but I have not been able to affect this option's behavior no matter what I do with anything I have tried. I have looked for add-on conflicts, windows conflicts, and anything else I could think of.

This is driving me "nuttss". Any idea why this is happening? Anyone else have this problem?

i have a similiar problem...

the option "links to other sites" have no effect, for example the link to support.moz... open in this tab...

but when i activate "All Links", these option works!

support.moz... is not a link here, are you using Linkification extension?

There was a change in Firefox 14+ (bug 730629) that broke Tabmix option to open new tab for "links to other sites".
I will fix this in the next dev-build.
