Feature Request: open a link by dragging and dropping it on the page. This saves having to drag the link to the tab bar. (Tab Utils has this feature).

Plenty of examples - so it should be easy to add this functionality to TMP.

I'm not a developer and don't know how 'easy' it is. But when i asked onemen to add drag to open in the same tab (i open everything in new tabs), he said no. I since asked somebody to create an ext. for me, it's a very small, under 1KB ext. which does what i want perfectly.
Good luck with your request but in the mean time you can try those ^ exts.
