It seems that TabMix considers 'Reload Tab' as 'Reload URI' what certainly is not what the TabMix function name suggests to a user.

Thus on many dynamic pages this setting is lost quite often and it get's increasingly unreliable since more pages use dynamic HTML. This is very annoying, e.g. if you wish to follow a newspaper's live-ticker and the newspaper not only changes the title but also the URI to reflect the current news topic.

Tank you. However, "some day" sounds like this does not get fixed soon, so do we expect to live with the bug one more year or even longer? Please remember that the bug already was reported by another user, at least a whole year ago.
I think "Reload Tab Every" is one of the oldest and most basic TabMix additions. And the Mozilla tabbrowser meanwhile features lots of useful API's, thus the fix should not require too much time (well, certainly it is not necessary to post a link to the appropriate MDN page, you doubtlessly know it its contents by heart)

Hmm, I seem to have just experienced the exact phenomena which you claim is missing.

Ever since I can recall, enabling Reload Every on a tab worked ONLY for the specific URL displayed in the address bar of the active tab.
Today, however, I went to a different page only to have it reload when I didn't want, nor expect, it to do so.

Has this behavior been implemented recently?

While I can see situations where this behavior is desirable, I'd like to have my cake and eat it too.
Perhaps you can code things in such a way as to have two options in the context menu?

For example:

Reload Every (site/tab-wide)
Reload Every (this page/url only)

Heck, take it one step further and grant us the option to save, via the TMP settings menu, specific URLs that we'd like to Reload Every (again, either for that specific URL or site/tab-wide).
In this way, we could open our browser, navigate to the saved URL and the RE option is automatically enabled for us.

Sure enough, thanks for that.

My suggestions for the context menu & save functions still apply. :D

EDIT:
Just to clarify my meaning (because I now see that you've deleted my post in the request section).
Currently, the setting in question is global in scope ONLY.
The changes I propose to the context menu would make it so that a user has the option to narrow the scope to effect the active tab ONLY. I suppose you could turn the global setting into a default with my change overriding it if desired.

The option to save RE settings for certain URLs and enable them automatically when that URL is visited in a later browser session is actually a separate thing altogether.
