I love that I can open tabs in the background, but there seems to be a problem.

Home button: Opens a new tab in the background.

Problem:
Reload button: Opens a new tab in the foreground, thus focusing on the tab.
Back button: Same as the Reload button.
Forward button: Same as the Reload button.

Intention: Tabs opening in the background.

reload button just reload the current tab
back button - Go back one page (in current tab)
forward button - Go forward one page (in current tab)

how exactly you open new tabs ?

how exactly you open new tabs ?

My problem is that some sites do not allow middle-click to open new tabs, must be Flash content.
So, I have to open a new tab with the previous page, and continue the arduous task of doing this over and over(This is a side-story. Most of the time, I want to open the previous page repeatedly for many other options I forgot in that page.). I press the forward button when I have some re-purpose and I would like to have the content again without having to press forward(In current tab).

Pressing the reload button is to make a new tab with the same page, in case I have something important in that current tab but I have another task I want to perform. (It is much more easier to middle-click the Reload button and obtain a new tab with the same content, or having to click the URL and press Alt+Enter, I prefer the middle-click option, keeps me from using the keyboard.)
Like, if I forget to sign in on my YouTube account to like/comment a video, I open a new tab to do so or I have to re-download the video again to see it, in which it can become very annoying.

Also, the Add-ons in the Options Menu does the same thing.

middle-click on the reload button duplicate the current tab and select the new tab
there is no option in Firefox or in Tabmix to duplicate a tab without selecting it.
I'm not going to add this option

Okay, now I am lost.
The reason of my posts is that middle-click on Back, Forward, and Reload open the tab in the front, instead of the background.
I had to describe why I use the techniques, and if it is possible to make those 3 buttons open the tabs in the background, like Home button does. Same thing for the Add-on's selection in the UI Menu.

Edit: Right, I was talking about sites that you cannot middle click on the links because they are made of Flash, so I have to make new tabs with the back button to have a great experience, but the annoyance that new tabs keep coming to the front instead of the background.

Even the Home button opens in the Foreground, when I do not have TMP on it.

Thanks for that. I will await any future versions that might possibly address it.

Okay, same thing with the TMP's "Open recently closed tabs."

Problem: Opening on a front tab that switches to that opened tab.

onemen will be absent for the most of the next couple of weeks. You might have to wait till he signs in again. Try bumping this thread in a week or 2.

BUMP for any possible fix. If not, please advice so we can close the topic and it will not be a bother.
My last post was based on a feature of TMP, so that is why I asked.
