Tab Mix Plus

Fx 3.6 by default opens link tabs relative to the source tab:

browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent=true

Installing TMP makes tabs open to the right (not using insertRelatedAfterCurrent though), which it probably shouldn't, but the real problem is that even with the TMP tab opening options it's impossible to restore Fx 3.6 default behavior.

Fx3.6 opens only link tabs relative, tabs from bookmarks and external links (any others?) open on the right, whereas with the TMP open relative option, bookmarks and external links open relative.

This can be addressed by either:

a) Relying on Fx 3.6 tab opening logic entirely and simply providing UI for insertRelatedAfterCurrent

or

b) Expanding TMP tab opening options UI so the desired behavior (including Fx 3.6 default) can be dialed up, by making it possible to specify the source from which tabs open relative

Second that. Tmp breaks latest FF (3.6) on Ubuntu Karmic Koala after forced compatibility vi Nightly tester tools. Only default hoepage is working. All other opened tabsare blank/white/Untitled. Also links middleclicked, dragged og right clicked. FF now unusable. No posting from dreaded Opera. My Firefox Information:

You are describing a different problem and using an old TMP build, so try the latest build and start a new thread for you issue.

FYI, TMP works perfectly fine with Fx 3.6 here. But you might benefit from reading this sticky first.

Can you allow the fx3.6 default behavior to be selected or configured?

Ideally TMP options would let you select the source of tabs that open relative, this way not only the fx default but current and any other behavior could be configured.
