The border between two tabs should be 1px (left red box), but the border of the wrong "last tab" is 2px (right red box).

2. Uncheck "Events --> Tab Opening --> Open new tabs next to current one", then the new tabs will open at the end without "last-tab".

This long-standing bug has been fixed:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338302

However, If I use the TabMix drop indicator, it still does not work on the very first drag&drop, does after you do it once. If I use the 'default' indicator it does indeed work the first time.

if you use Firefox without TMP do you get the "last-tab" attribute right?

Yes, the theme works fine without TMP.
However I don't know how to open a background new tab or not at the end...

Oh, I forgot to say the problem only appears when unchecking "Open new tabs next to current one" and "Focus/Select tabs that open from: New tab commands" both.

(P.S. I'm working about the compatibility with TMP currently. Smile )

Can't you guys move the left scroll arrow to the left of the tab bar? where it is now makes it hard to move a tab from one side of the screen to another.

Please see: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390778, with TMP installed the browser is opening up with no bookmarks, and a blank browser screen.

Regression range is posted in the bug.

With yesterday's trunk nightly some right click options of the bookmarks don't work. It's all the open options that don't work. But I guess you have other things to worry about first with the new trunk nightly.

Bug 378866, which caused the TMP problem, has just been backed out (The 20070803 nightly has the bug in). But when 378866 relands it still might effect TMP - but I guess you'll hear about it if it does Smile

The blank screen came up regardless of whether or not Minefield was set to show home page(s) or to return/restore to the previous session.

The affected build: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007080305 Minefield/3.0a7pre - Build ID: 2007080305

i use this userchrome.js snippet to move the left scrollbutton and place the Open Tabs button (customize and place it anywhere, it gets lost on a new customize due to a known bug, so you have to drag it each time). modified from someone on the userchrome forum..

Code:

/* :::::::: TabMixPlus.js::::::::::::::: */
/*
   :::::::: Moves the left scroll button of the tab bar to the far left,
   :::::::: and places Opened Tabs button on the tabbar.
*/

(function () {

   var tabsframe = document.getElementById('scroll-tabs-frame');
   if(null == tabsframe) return;

   tmp = tabsframe.nextSibling;
   while(tmp.className != 'tabs-scroll')
      tmp = tmp.nextSibling;

   var scroll_left = tmp.lastChild;
   var scroll_right = tmp.nextSibling.firstChild;

   var tabs_alltabs = document.getElementById('btn_tabslist');
   var el = document.getElementById('tabs-newTab').parentNode;
   el.replaceChild(tabs_alltabs, el.firstChild);

   var e2 = tabsframe.parentNode.childNodes[1];
   e2.insertBefore(scroll_left.parentNode, e2.firstChild);
   scroll_left.addEventListener("command", function(event) { gBrowser.mTabContainer.collapsedTabs--; }, false);

   var tabbar = getBrowser().mTabContainer;
   tabbar.__defineSetter__('canScrollTabsLeft',
         function (val) {
            if(val != this.canScrollTabsLeft) {
               if(val) this.removeAttribute("disableScrollTabsLeft");
               else this.setAttribute("disableScrollTabsLeft","true");
            }
            scroll_left.disabled = !val;
            return val;
         }
      );

   tabbar.__defineSetter__('canScrollTabsRight',
         function (val) {
            if(val != this.canScrollTabsRight) {
               if(val) this.removeAttribute("disableScrollTabsRight");
               else this.setAttribute("disableScrollTabsRight","true");
            }
            scroll_right.disabled = !val;
            return val;
         }
      );

   tabbar.canScrollTabsLeft = tabbar.childNodes[0].collapsed;
   tabbar.ensureTabIsVisible(getBrowser().mCurrentTab._tPos);
   tabbar.canScrollTabsRight = !tabbar.rightEnd;

})();

with latest dev build, i'm having issues with the tab select on mouse hover. even with delay=0, i have to move the mouse on a tab (which is highlighted as hovered) a bit to get the select. it's like molasses. used to have 700ms but forget it, better to click. and when moving off a hovered but not selected tab to another, the one moving off of then gets selected.

also, i can't get Visit Home Page in addons rt click to focus the tab. each option in focus/select tab is checked for Events->Tab Focus tab. but no new tab gets focused.

any ideas??

the hover problem seems to occur when moving from an active tab, over its favicon, and into the label of the previous tab. no amount of moving over the label makes it active; moving the mouse to its favicon triggers the select. moving from page to inactive tab label does same thing, if over icon have to move to label and vice versa. something odd going on.

argh, it was the Findfox extension, a regex addition to findbar which is in the sandbox. it's even the reason an extensions Visit Home Page tab won't select!

sorry to waste your time on this..

After Firefox 2 was launched, TMP still has the old cheveron left-right scroll button. Why can't we have the option of default left-right scroll button that comes with Firefox 2. They look so much better. Please include them. Thanks.

Since a few trunk, the context menu gets crazy (left button in main window). It either gets blank lines in the middle or even get completely blank menu.

I think this is the same thing Andu posted about. Right-clicking a bookmark to then open, open in new tab or new window does not work when TMP-Dev is enabled.
